@Ikon Motorsports @Ikonmotorsports

Do not buy from this company. They are very shady and customer service is flat out non existent. 1,050 hood with more issues than it's worth. Instead of replacing it they sent me 250 and then became useless.

Fitment is terrible, quality is terrible, dimensions are terrible. Highs and lows everywhere, 1/4 fitment gaps due to bad curvature that can't be adjusted. And all the hardware is rusting in under a year.

And to top it off if you decide to leave a review that is anything other than a 4 or 5 star review praising the item then they will DELETE your review so no one else can see it. That is extremely shady and suspicious to hide customer reviews that show a product for what it is. Avoid this company at all cost and all their products, I previously bought some of the seats and the recliner mechanism snapped after 200 miles and I accelerate hard but not hard enough to snap a seat in half that quickly. I've never snapped any seat in half other than a ikon seat.

I bought a ducktail spoiler for the old 2016 gennie coupe from them back in 2017. shipping was good. painter I used said product was good quality and didn't require any real prep before spraying. fitment(I put it on myself post paint) was very good.

sorry you had a bad experience with them. I did a bunch of research on them before ordering and did find that some products are hit or miss.

Purchasing large items like this across state lines or across the country are always a high risk. I had a similar experience with another hood supplier.

Both of my Mach 1 bumper purchases have been from Ikon and I've had no manufacturing issues with them. Fit was good enough for me. And only emailed CS once and was responded to in an acceptable amount of time.

The hood I got from Ikon fits about as well as the OEM one. It did arrive with a tiny mark on the corner. I agree with the hardware, all of it went in the trash immediately. It’s cheap and useless.

That being said I don’t doubt the review thing. All the reviews are good and that’s just not realistic. Even if they never messed up, I’ve been on this planet long enough to know you can’t please everyone.

Def not good fitment by any means. My oem hood fit flawless, mp concepts hood also flawless (means that the body is straight so the issue is the hood). Let's just say this is NOT OEM fitment. And their lack of trying to make things right is the sign of a terrible company. I did my research prior and I saw nothing that said to stay away (because they delete the reviews). Forums didn't have anything specific so I decided I'll make this thread so anyone searching about ikon has a warning that not all is as it seems and that their reviews are fake/cherry picked and that their customer service is a joke. The pictures of fitment speak for themselves, along with dozens of small dents or high spots and the rare time ikon would communicate they claim dents and high spots are normal and acceptable for the quality standards. And said fitment is not guaranteed and it's up to the body shop installing to heat the hood up and adjust the curvature. What the actual fuck. I bought a hood to paint and install. No where does it say it might have to be heated up and have the entire curvature of the hood adjusted. I never would have bought it if that was listed. Now I'm stuck with terrible fitment and the one side being dented in the middle along with weird high creases at the front of the hood which make no sense. I can't afford to go buy and have another hood painted. The close ish photo of the front of the hood shows one of the several high spot creases that are there. Can't be sanded down without going through/being too thin and I don't want mountains of bondo to try and make the hood not look like trash.

Do you have the hood struts or still rocking the prop rod? Mine did hit the Ford Performance hood struts which made the sides pop up a touch. The spot is easy to find and I could clearance it but I just went back to the prop rod for now.

Directly on the items listing.
Oh right, ebay listing. They have control of that.

They can't take down a google review and it will hurt them more!

Know why companies ask for your review? They want to keep it internal where they have control.

Know why they are so quick to ask for your review? It's because you're more likely to be in a positive mood and it's before anything goes wrong.

Wait a month and then post your experience on Google.

It's been a month since I posted it, didn't realize it was deleted until now when I came across a thread talking about their hood. I'm still lost as to what to do, I'm not sure if the hood is worth trying to have a shop completely rework it's curvature and a pdr shop try to fix where it's dented along the side and the several creases at the front. Can't afford to drop another 1k+ on a hood and 1k+ in paint. At the very least I have to drill the hood vent as the very first vent is a bucket. Ikon wasent even good enough to include a drain hole so it becomes a bucket that holds dirt and water and is impossible to clean the corners/edges of.
