I believe this is the one that mtr5.0 was talking about. Private seller, could get your own financing. Love my Mach 1 but those HEs are a dream car of mine as well.

I do have $30k of student loan debt. I’ve financed three cars in my name, one with a co-signer. Other than that I have $0 debt then my student loans and car, no missed payments or late payments, etc. 761 score like I said. No credit card debt, though I’ve had healthy usage in the past of credit cards. My income is $7,500 gross. Idk what the issue was, other than that I’m 26.
My wording was a little weird here. By financed three cars in my name I meant in the past LOL, not currently. Just the Mach 1 currently.

Sucks for you, bunch of crap. I will say this if you were remotely still interested. Me being the …hole I am I’d do there deal, 14 percent and all. And as soon as the car was registered and the title was transferred I’d walk in to my credit union and refi it for 5-5.25. And then those …holes would have to write the check for the backend bump they pulled. What most don’t realize is almost all finance companies have six month rights of recission if the financee pays that note off within the first six months. The dealer is on the hook to repay that spiff they got, and so is the …hole finance guy that pushed it.
An idea for sure, and would make me feel good because they were for sure trying to take me for a ride. I just have done this enough times I know the games. Though, I think for the price honestly without it in front of me and a clear head, I’d like a way cleaner undercarriage for what they’re charging. BAT cars going for the same price are a lot cleaner. Like perfect, spotless. My Mach 1 is that way. Which I will send some pics of later to show you guys my standard.

Also thought you guys might find this funny. On my way out when they were essentially holding my keys hostage to my car. They were saying “we have a guy in Switzerland right now ready to wire the money” to where I could overhear it on purpose. LOL. I said “sounds like you got your guy”.

Looks like slight surface rust to me. My 2020R doesn't have surface stuff that looks like that, and it's got 7100 miles on it now.
Understand but you need to keep in mind that this vehicle was built in late November 2020 and by the time it was time to ship it to the Ford dealership in Akron, Ohio a month later it may have been exposed to road salt at the FRAP or in Akron sometime in December of that same year.

This is also a 3-owner vehicle that has spent time in Ohio and Indiana over the last 5 1/2 years therefore the surface rust could have been initiated in any of those 2 states during that timeline?

All good points. I was certainly in some aspects going to set myself back by getting this car, but cars are my love so I justify it. I feel after today, what I currently have is maybe the most I SHOULD have, and that’s brought some closure. Because, if I were to 350 shop again, it would again be a 2020 loaded HEP. Otherwise I’m happy to keep my Mach 1 HP. When the right car is available, it’ll be available and I’ll have the funds where it makes sense, is what I am telling myself. Back to the smart things, like investing in the S&P 500, my Roth IRA and chunking down my student loans I suppose.
Very smart Idea Alex, invest that extra money , pay off your student loan, enjoy your Mach , your 26 , you'll have plenty time in life to find another one in a few years , or who knows your taste changes you get a raise and get an Exotic. At 70 here , believe me, you have plenty of time. Save your $$$$

You made the right decision as not only did this example has some surface rust on the undercarriage but it was a 3-owner vehicle that came with Red Brembo brake calipers and possibly had the resonators removed from this vehicle.

There are another 534 HE units to choose from therefore would encourage you to take your time and get a nicer unit for about the same money?

I’ve been to Switzerland many times for work….in Geneva and other places, it’s an exotic car paradise. No Mustangs there. Did see an old Firebird there once. Pretty sure Ford did not get the 350 certified in any euro country and given the money they’d have to pay to license it there, they’ll just stay with the Ferrari or Lambos.

Looks like the price of the car was raised to $84,900, they’re smoking crack.

You sir are in Tx. Lol.
Correct. Just wanted to let adr2000 know what I thought it was. Doesn't look like Cosmoline to me. My R was originally shipped to Ohio, and the first owner purchased and owned it in that state for a year. I also bought the car from Delaware. Previous owners did a great job keeping it out of the salt. Only had 1900 miles on it when I purchased it. 😎

I would almost guarantee now they were fucking with you because of your age now. That’s a pretty fast price change, they appear to be trying to change the potential buyer pool by putting the price in the $80’s now. Charlie @Inthehighdesert was in that business for a while so he knows all the tricks of the trade so he can tell me if I’m wrong, but that’s what it appears to me.

Smart decision. Enjoy the Mach 1 HP and the 3160

Yes, this is actually the way.

Found one near me, 5,000 miles. 2020 GT350, heritage package, technology package, track package. I love my Mach 1, but I am curious of the difference of the driving experience, from what I read. The GT350 is for sale for around $79,000. I just bought my Mach 1 a few months ago, so I owe $55,000 on it. I don’t think I’d have the balls to actually do it, or that it would make sense financially, but looking for opinions.

P.S. What would I be missing out on looking at a Non-R?

Also, an ESP is a MUST. If I cannot obtain one the whole fantasy dies there.

2020 or bust also for me.
