Honestly, who prefers the GT 5.0 over GT350?

I kind of see what you're saying, I just don't view it as a negative. Also from the side it's a great representation of the actual snake head emblem, at least it gives me that impression if not a 1:1 representation.

I look at the front and see this.

And fortunately not this guy who seems a little unsure.

What a ridiculous thread. And on a Mustang forum nonetheless. Flame away.

ps. I have 16 premium vert, 6 speed. All kinds of mods. Just bought a 2020 350 as well.

It’s not hard to best a 350’with a GT. Especially if you have magnetide on that GT and simply ford performance sway bars (which are an upgrade of what the 350 has) and Michelin Cup 2s. That alone puts you in the ball park as evidence by the PP2. Why do you think a 350
Is that much better? Listen I like the car but there’s nothing that special over all about it. Especially when comparing a GT with magnetite and a PP1/PP2 package. The car is almost no better at all at that point and realistically it’s debatable if a PP2 is better or equal with handling.

I wish my 350 had magnetite on it

My modified GT out handles and out brakes a GT350. If I didn't have so much into my GT, I would own one though.

That's awesome. Was looking at the GT350R the other day on the showroom and it's awesome looking. I would own one for sure. I like my GT just fine and it's way more than anything I need to drive on the street.

Read through about half this thread before getting tired of the hilarious and toxic comments about being too poor, etc.

I chose the gt because it fits my lifestyle better. I wanted a manual, but still wanted the safe and smart package for adaptive cruise as this is my daily. If the gt350 had that option it still costs more than I wanted to spend. Could I afford it, sure, would I want to, no.

Why is everyone (or at least several people) comparing a heavily modified GT 5.0 to a stock GT350? That's silly. Anyone with enough coin can slap parts on a cheap car and make it as fast as a factory car with a warranty that hasn't been bastardized. Either in a straight line or around a track (the latter probably a bit more difficult to match the balance and precision, esp. of the R). There's nothing wrong with that, really, but the comparison should be stock vs. stock. I love my '18 GT PP1 premium w/ Magneride, A10, and the Safe and Smart package. But the GT350 (esp. the 350R) is a special vehicle. There's a reason it wins nearly every head to head competition the magazines put together. A PP2 doesn't have the same feel as a GT350 or esp. an R. Sure, it's almost as fast around a track as a pre '19 GT350, for a while, but the Cup 2 tires on the '19 GT350 just increased the gap again.

I love the sound of the Mustang V8... who doesn't. The sound of the Coyote and the VooDoo are both unique, and both sound great.
I found this video of this gadget that someone made (I would love to have one) which compares the difference in the Cross Plane Crank and the Flat Plane Crank.... this is pretty good... enjoy, my fellow V8 friends...!!!!!

as far as the title goes, that's a hard choice because i have not driven a GT350, but my 19 GT is fitting me fine, hell i unless i get a brake and I'm first at the light i can't use all the power mine has now past 3rd gear anyway. so i'll stick to mine thanks :like:

Don't you realize that unlike the real world where net worth = assets - liabilities, your net worth on car forums = car(s) you drive + ADM. So folks who ordered GT500's are automatically richer than ones with GT350's, who in turn are richer than ones with GT's. EB's and V6's are poorest of them all, so poor to the point that V6's died of starvation.
