Honestly I don’t but I thought someone said the part numbers were the same for the R.S.
Almost the same. GT has a suffix of E, GT350 has an F suffix. Must've been a slight revision.

I ran into this when I was doing my research. On 2018 GTs, manual car left side shafts have a different part number, cost more and are heavier than those on cars that have the automatic.
I am a bit confused now. So is it worth it to get both driver and passenger side gt350 shafts on 2018+ autos?

LSChicago has shown that getting both is very little more expensive than just getting the driver's side. I don't think there is any gain by changing the passenger side but changing both couldn't hurt considering the price difference.

I think you will be fine doing that.

I only have heard of one guy who ever broke the stock right side. He had a trans brake and did a hellacious launch.

I will just change the left for now. I'll hang on to the GT350 right, in case I ever need it. a $43 insurance policy. On Edit: I did change both. The right GT350 axle is a pound heavier than the right GT axle.

Now that I think about it, your right

Who knows maybe it’s a better metal or hardened metal. If or when someone finds out it would be cheaper to have the right just in case

You will never get a right side any cheaper than buying the the pair as a package.

Exactly, Chicago is right
Better to buy it as a kit, just install the left and wait to see if in fact the right is actually better, if it is we install it later and if not, we have a $43 paperweight

And the right shaft is now $237, so there is the potential to get some of your money back vs. buying just the left if you never use it.

I have the gr350 left axle in my a10 turbo car. Held up great so far. But I just turned it up a bit and broke 2 right side stock axles in just 1 day. So if the right side axle is the same strength as the gt350 then 1.4 60fts will kill them.
