Vortech/paxton guys cold air filter

I think I'm going to run the k&n air filter on the blower inlet on the street when I take a trips or I'm daily driving, put the the blower guard on when I'm gonna do rolls on the street and take it completely off when I'm at the track.

Did you have to cut anything to put this on? I haven't gotten mine yet but it looks like there is a plastic piece in the way.

Its the radiator shroud. If you have a dremel it takes less than 5 minutes. I had to cut mine so i'm assuming you do. Unless someone has another way.

For the guys that take the filter off for the track and don't run breathers what do you do with the driver side oil separator that runs into the air intake?

Definitely need to trim. Pretty easy with a dremel.

I cant get this filter to fit.I hope I don't have any issues since I cut these pieces off my fan shroud.

I cut the other mounting tab off as well. Also my filter had to be "smashed" a little to fit.

Anyone experience flutter with their Paxton? I went to a filter mounted on charger and now it flutters. It doesn't when running the intake tube.

What did you do for your connections that ran to the air intake tube? I have the UPR catch can made for the paxton supercharger, I ordered the BMR filter, now I just need to figure out what to do to eliminate the intake tube and connections.

I run a puke tank off of both valve covers.

The burger filter is better and not much more. They have a stubby too that I believe has more surface area than the k&n but is shorter.

He thought he could run another Catch Can to grab the tube going into the intake tube. What puke tank to you go with?

Here's what I run. i have ran this one, I ran the stock set up. i have ran jlt, I ran a custom one that sucks air from the fender, and it doesn't matter they all have the same iat's. The filter right on the supercharger has the best flow besides no filter. but one thing to keep in mind is the supercharge will be louder

You probably had the flutter the whole time but when you put the filter right on the supercharger you can see right now
