My dealer confirmed the Philadelphia region got around 6 "production dates" in this batch.
But atleast he confirmed that the process had begun, he also said he will get a message a few days prior to the VIN being assigned and would let me know.
I will of course let this group know as well.

I received my VIN Number this morning with a scheduled build date of 9/23 for my Base GT500

I know what dealer you are talking about and it is who I bought my gt350 from. Great people but they were not friendly to me on gt500

With such a late start of production for the GT500 , I don't envision any GT500 Mustangs being built for Minnesota this year. By the time the GT500 would be shipped to the dealer it may be close to the end of October or early November. We have been known to get snow by that time of year.

I think its going to matter more on Detroit weather than anything? As long as they can build it I think they will. From what I have seen the tires are the hold up on production in the winter. If tires are able to be put on I don't see why where you live would matter. I could be wrong on this though.

This is my first mustang experience and first time with ADM, I only called 3 dealers got frustrated and just accepted the ADM they want bc his knowledge and customer service has been great.
I was surprised how many dealers were clueless on the GT500.

I remember picking up my 2016 GT350 in mid November. Of course it was dark and raining that evening, so I was pretty nervous driving it home. But everything went fine.

Another fellow Minnesotan. Shit the last 2 years it has been winter in mid November. I will be daily driving mine until the first salt hits the road then it’s back to the truck
