Installed the Ford Performance Decklid panel on my euro GT. I really hate the faux gas cap.

But I fu***d badly

When you used the trunk lid as the fulcrum for your pry tool my first thought was "This is going to end badly"!

Bummer. When you pry something off you want to push against the piece that is being removed. In this case you want to insert the bar and pull it toward you while pulling the panel to you as well. I did this on my car. It was un-nerving but successful. I deleted the GT lid and then drilled and mounted a pony on the back.

Has anyone asked you how you got an EB to sound like a GT?

haven't had a lot of time with it yet, but from the short drive I have had I have noticed this:
Normal Mode: A little stiffer. Not a lot, just enough to notice.
Sport+: I noticeably feel bumps more. Still not enough to bother me in any way as a daily driving mode
Track: Again it feels a bit more harsh than I recall it being before hand I would definable not wanna drive on a crap road with this, but I did notice that when doing the few bends I did have on the way home and to work this AM, the car felt VERY flat.

Why ?

The GT on the back is a badge of honor. It says you spent at least $10k more and you have the big motor. I like the pony but the GT is the sh$t.

They are from eBay, I didn't have high expectations..they were cheap to buy but high quality metal and exceeded my expectations. 3M tape #

Washed it so tomorrow evening I can polish it up for the weekend trip up to Austin. A group of friends and I are meeting up at the Austin Cars and Coffee event at the circuit of the americas race track.

Hopefully I won’t get too dirty/buggy on the drive up otherwise I’ll have to get it washed when I arrive again.
