I've got the 1/4" ones in the rear on my car, no issues at all. I know a few people run the front ones too, but can't remember who.Anyone tried the steeda spacers?
Nothing wrong with using spacers, but the problem when the springs are progressive is that you might need more spring rate at static ride height as well as more static ground clearance. The alternative would probably involve raising the ride height up more than you might prefer.Anyone tried the steeda spacers?
The simple fact of the matter is that, at some point in time, you WILL scrape the pre-muffler merely cuz it's the lowest part of the car. Especially if it's an aftermarket unit. Look at it like 'Car Physics 101'. It will not make any difference what springs you have on your Mustang. Obviously, the higher the ride height, the less chance of the pre-muffler grinding, but it's gonna happen! You just have to take a 'rock crawler' attitude when going over certain speed bumps & in & out of certain driveways. And, even then, you just know yer gonna have to 'suck it up, buttercup' cuz you will still hear that terrible grinding sound.I installed Texas Speed headers & CJ/Magnaflow + pipe & it’s scraping w/Steeda progressives. Which springs do I go with ... minimum drop or PP springs?
How much had you lowered the car?I installed Texas Speed headers and cj/magnaflow x pipe and it’s scraping with steeda progressives. Which springs do I go with minimum drop or pp springs?
I would recommend running the spring spacers. They are actually on sale currently!Anyone tried the steeda spacers?
