Picked up my Bullitt about three and a half weeks ago. I have broken it in and have been having such a blast so far. It has the electronics package and magnaride. I have been driving BMWs for the last 10 years and I am very excited to be in something new and so fun.

Cool! I'm a noob here, too. A great group and a tremendous resource.

Curious, are the parking structure photos out by the Dimensional Funds campus on Bee Cave Road?

The parking garage is at Plaza at the Lake at 360 and the bridge.

Thank you! Then that is near DFA in the hills behind you.

A former Boerne resident here. My wife is Austin, born and raised.

It was four BMWs in a row. I had a 2008 135i and 2013 135is which I loved and a 2012 335i and 2015 328i which I hated!

The 328 still has two months left on lease and my wife is stuck driving it for now. We traded in her 2015 GTI for the Bullitt.

BMW's are nice cars, but they are like belly buttons...…..

Now you have something "Special"

Congrats and enjoy. This car is emotional, German cars are clinical...…..

That's probably true these days; the last BMW that made me smile like the Bullitt was my 2003 e39 M5. A simple, no frills, bad-ass 400 HP naturally aspirated V8 with a 6 speed manual.

My second car was a new 1980 BMW 320i in red. Back then BMW's were special. You pretty much always got flashed by other bimmer's when on the highway and sometimes in the city too...

The 1 Series was a great car but the current 3 Series suffers from a serious lack of personality. The M2 was pretty much the only other car in consideration but it was $10k more and I was pretty ready for something different.

You made an excellent choice and congrats on your new Bullitt!

There are rumors that Ford and VW are forming an alliance in the very near future.

Yeah I agree, the 1 and 2 Series were much more fun to drive to me than the current gen 3 Series. It sounds like BMW heard the complaints and tried to fix that with the new 3 Series, we'll see if they succeed. I loved the M2, but once you're spoiled by V8 power, the M2 just doesn't feel punchy enough. If the muscle cars didn't exist though, an M2 would be high up on my potential purchase list.
