SVTfever - Looks awesome. Very nice. Just bought a set of BMR minimum lowering springs. My stance should be close to yours. The Ford center caps make the wheels.

They definitely look better with the Ford center cap. I bought the wheels in Dec and I don't really have any complaints. The one annoying thing is they like to hold water forever after a wash. Takes at least 2 drives for water to stop spraying out of the wheels.

Why did you pick 275/35 up front as opposed to 285/35?

Here's how the Liquid Graphite's look on Grabber Blue. A bit dreary on the day I took this. I wrapped them in Continental ExtremeContact Sport 285/35ZR19's all around.

I can't speak for him, but I would imagine it's because the Michelin Super Sports don't come in a 285/35. The 4S tires do, but they don't come in a 305/35. Pretty annoying if you want to try to stay close to the stock diameter. I wish Michelin would make the 4S in a 305/35/19.

Michelin discontinued the MPSS 285/35 19 in a non run flat tire. The options for a non run flat is 275/35 or 275/40.

Anybody felt a difference performance-wise with these wheels? They weigh 10 pounds a piece less than the PP wheels so surely they are lighter on their feet?

Not quite as much difference as a carbon fiber dss- a little difference, however I think most of the weight loss is negated as people put bigger tires on which negate the weight loss.

Bigger tire can lead to other benefits. More grip for the same weight... I'll make that trade on a short course any day of the week.

I'm just curious, has anyone tried 265/40/19?

I was thinking of going with 265/40/19 squared. I got 19x10's in black now, and still debating on tire size. My car is a daily driver, so I don't need tires over 275. Also, the 265/40/19 is the same diameter as stock, so no issues with speedometer adjustments.

I believe there has been some that have done a 265/40/19 and of course you can go with a 275/40/19 or 285/35/19 as well.

Yeah, I'm not sure I want such a wide tire for daily driving/comfort reasons. Besides, the 265/40 is closest to stock diameter.
