I just got my Mustang GT- got it as my 2017 Camaro gave me so many problems with the bad A8 transmission I traded it in. So the GT replaced the Camaro as my “weekend” car. Although I would rotate the Camaro with my Fiesta ST once in a while for my long commute to work. But with the GT and 15 MPG, I now must resort to using it on weekends only. My commute is 80 miles round trip a day and the gas consumption at 15 MPG is too much for me to use it- versus the 2017 Fiesta ST, which gets almost 39 MPG.

So I am curious if anyone else uses their GT on just the weekend for the same reason, or is it your daily driver and the gas consumption is no problem?

It was a daily in Hawaii but now we are in Georgia it is a garage queen. Still only put 16K miles on it in 3 years as a daily though.

Just bought a V6 for my DD and when I retire in 3-4 years I'm probably going to get a GT. Unless I like the Camaro SS better.

Weekend most of the time. B/c I have a 2nd car that I lend out to my parents for 4.5 months of the year when they vacation 7hrs north of me part of the year. But Mustang would be my primary for those 4.5 months. I work from home so not a ton of miles during the week.

I have a 2017 Performance Pack GT with a 6 speed. Gets about 14.4-15.1 MPG. It's my weekend car and my daily is a 2018 Camry LE.

2018 MT non PP, the same hard driving as a 2017 MT I had and getting 2-3mpg better consistently. 22 miles one way with city traffic, 18mpg vs the 15ish from before. Premium gas. Didn't expect to get better mileage but it's a welcome difference

2018 MT non PP. 18-20mpg mixed city/hwy. I get 26-27 if mostly hwy. I drive my stang everywhere, everyday! The more the gas pedal goes down, the bigger the smile. :)
