I'm puzzled as to why he didn't just mod the '67 front suspension and dump the shock towers to fit the GT500 mill. Easily done.

And the rest of the '67 suspension is easily modded to meet (or exceed) stock GT500 performance....

A few years ago, I remember seeing a project where a guy put a GT500 drivetrain and interior into a foxbody. That was a cool project because the exterior of the car looked like it was supposed to.
