Thats untrue. We'd have more stick cars running single digits if that was true.

You should be using slicks on a stick car not a radial. Slicks are easier on the drivetrain and absorb shock loading unlike a radial. Slicks for sticks Radials for autos.

Get the 62s.

A ported boss by bret barber is known to put down within 3-5whp of a Cobra jet. It picks up around 10-12whp and torque throughout the entire power band.

Congrats! Since boostworks went to hell in a handbasket im going to use Lpf of Armageddon. Most likely Lpf.

Heating up tires that arent slicks or drag radials decreases the grip. No idea why you are doing anything more then a light spin to clean them off.

Staying in it when a car is wheel hoping badly is a sure fire way to damage lots of thing.

I had a mustang that smoked the tires down the 8th mile and still ran 8.70s at 173:lol: it wasnt a major smoke show but it was visible behind me My sti with 6766 didnt like traction without slicks. I had issues til mid way through 3rd. It was easily 150mph car

Youd be wrong, evos, sti and gtr all have tractiom problems even with awd on summers around 750whp. My sti had traction issues out the ass unless on slicks. Anyone that tells you different has no experience or lying. A properly set up rwd suspension for the intended racing will have more traction.

Both the PC and whipple packages are nice. For a street driven car its quite a bit easier to find traction with a centri than with a PD. Food for thought.
