you don't need to know someone to say they could lose weight. Its only going to be good for you. The amount of health problems later in life will be insane. I read on a different forum where some guy said he was, and I quote "Fat as hell" and everyone was trying to help him figure out how to install a sturdier seat. I think he would be better served to get his "Fat as hell" self to the gym. My 2 cents.
Well until the salesmen start refusing to sell cars to overweight people we are going to have these problems.

Ford has to assume that anybody that can physically fit in the car will drive the car. There is not a disclaimer saying that anyone over ###lbs should not drive mustangs. When they start doing that they can deny warranty claims.

I’m 5’9” and 140 something and fairly fit, Premium GT seats fit me nicely with good support.

Those charts make me laugh!
I wrestled in high school and it was tough for me to get down to 188 class. (Big boned as my mother said)
I was in great shape and lifted pretty heavy.

40 years later I am a huge fatso! (That metabolism really slows down!)
Screw it, give me another drink and some good BBQ!

To all of u posting in this thread under 250, u don't belong in this thread, clearly does not pertain to u. It really peaves me when skinny people act as of they r fat. Do u know how many of us would love to be in the 200's let alone the 100's? Nothing u guys say will be of any help for this topic.

I'm a weightlifter and weigh about 270-280lbs (I compete in the 125kg weight class).

The tech told me this was a "big boy problem" and that he was "not even going to try to fix it."

Is there anyone else who weighs a fair bit who drives a Mustang, and if so, does your seat sound like a sad sea lion? Should I just go to a different dealer?
At least you aren't as big as this guy.

It sounds like that one particular guy is a dumbass. Either talk to someone else at that dealer or go to a different dealer.

When I drove my last Mustang I was 139 and 5,8”. Now I am 175 about thirty years later. According to the charts I am overweight but age also enters into the game.

Anyone over 300lbs should get a discount for a Whipple since that's going to needed.

Haha. What about people 300+ driving a 4 banger sedan?

I'm 320 and I dailied a ZX2. I even ran 13.5 in my Mach1 when stock

that dude must me close to 450 if not over.

I've lost weight (still am) but i was 350 and no place as awkward in a seat as him. I sit in an Altima, CR-V and Civic just fine. I'd like to lose enough that I can order a RECARO.

I'm a bigger fella - 5'11" and about 265..... and I can find second gear no problem.

But my seat bottom does make a weird "click" noise and you can move the seat bottom around a bit.
