LOL at you guys posting in a heavier guy thread at 220 and under!

Last time I did a Highlander event, the cutoff for "lightweight" was 250!
Strongman was either 260 or 231 depending on the contest. I'd always talk myself into tying to get down to 260 for the contests that had that class.

That would last about 2 weeks until one of my lifts was off and my wife got sick of me being hangry all this time. Then it was back to fat strong and happy!

I'm 320 and I dailied a ZX2. I even ran 13.5 in my Mach1 when stock
My son and son-in-law have both been in your 320 - 350 weight range for years, and they've both driven Honda Civics (and even a CRX) at various times. SIL currently drives a 2013 Dodge Dart when he's home.

I'm nowhere near that big (not even 2xx), but with those guys in the family for a reference point even the 275-pound class sounds a little on the small side.

My current goal is to get back under 300. Just been a pain with the holidays. I'd LOVE to be about 290-280 when the Bullitt arrives.

My goal is to maintain healthy weight, not that it relates to topic, lol.

I'm 6'6" 218-220 and my doctor told me I should be 195. Glad I'm not going to the doctor anymore. Mustang is very friendly to tall drivers thankfully. One of the first things I checked off the list was the legroom amount. That's make or break it for me with a lot of cars like the Corvette.

Just out of pure curiosity, what sport are you actually doing? Weightlifting doesn't have a 125kg class, the heaviest is 105+
Just curious, as it's sort of a hobby for me. I was set to go to Nationals last year in the 94kg masters class but injured my shoulder.

So since I'm 5'8" 190 LBS I don't count as heavy? My doctor said I need to lose 10 LBS lol.
I need to lose 13 times that.

I just kinda cut the carbs, soda, fast food and really got into slow pitch softball year round. I was 212 LBS 5 years ago so getting down to 190 feels about right.
I started to walk more, cut most sugar drinks. Cutting down on what I eat too, though most my issue is what I eat, not how much. Also movement. I sit most my day. I'm trying to do black coffee, but Ugh, wow. That's a tough one.

I took have been having the seat issues. Not overly over weight, but the foam is terrible and deforming at 6600 miles. I am going to look into buying Recaros, these seats just are not for me.

Strongman, you know Atlas stones and such. I competed between 290-300 and was on the small side for some of the bigger contests.

Oly lifting caps at the 105+ class.

I've competed in powerlifting at 100, 110, 125, and 140kg weight classes. After 140kg it just goes to SHW (superheavyweight, 308lb.+)

I've done limited Strongman comps but with regards to Highland games and Highlander events I've done it's just been lightweight (<250) and heavyweight (>250).
