  8. Take a moment, let me share a good story

Dreams, we all have them. I have a 2017 GT mustang. Just found out that I can boost it to 670 crank safely with flrd racing. I mean holy shit. 2014 GT500 was 662 crank. Funny part... I am almost done with a 100% suspension swap and lightening project, basically a GT350 suspension utilizing...
  9. Just how crap are the seats?!

I used the stock seats at 6, and 240 lbs. Seat foam collapsed so I had it replaced. No luck still absolutely horrible. Just installed Recaros, and gotta lose the weight a bit. MUCH better seat overall.
  10. Mild suspension upgrades, is there such a thing?

Not joking, I literally bought all of this minus the plates. Install is going on right now....I am excited to see how it handles.
  11. Suspension Question... Steeda, BMR, and fellow M6G guys step on inside. :)

Hi all, Been a while since I have posted. Finally have gotten better after a long illness and cleared by my doctors, so the first thing I am doing is of course installing the pile of parts that I bought after doing a lot of reading here at Mustang 6G back in December. I have installed the...

Fellow Mustang6G'ers, After a lot of reading I ordered some parts for car to build over the winter. I intend to use this as a short range daily driver and fun weekend build. Now, I just wait it out for parts to arrive. Here is the list, I already have the Ford Racing sway bars and the CB005...
  15. New Owner - Leather Seat Lower Back Pain Question

WHen installing a set of Tailcat seats, what happens to the airbag plug in and all that? Will the car function? I am finding my seats to be crap and would like to switch but do not want to pay $2800 for the Recaros. Also, can they be set up to work with the Ford seat heater that is in the car?
  16. Going from 3:31 to 3:73?

Thank you for the informative post! The first mod I did the car was the shifter then the lockout. It made A VAST improvement in quality of the driving experience. Next will be gears. As a fun daily driver, I would like more pick up and go without adding a power adder due to traction issues and...
  17. Going from 3:31 to 3:73?

I have considered going with a boosted setup, but given where I live and what roads I drive, I do not really think I need more power...just the ability to access it quicker with gearing I think. Any thoughts on overall pickup of 3:73 vs 3:31? To me, it feel as if the car is trying to catch up...
  18. Going from 3:31 to 3:73?

So I have a the 3:31 gears in my Mustang and was wondering how much more responsive the 3:73s are in comparison? The last mustang I did a gear swap in was my 08 and went from the stock 3:31? to a 4:10. It made a huge difference. Would I be seeing the same kind of pickup In acceleration because...

  20. 2017 Mustang GT clutch adjustment

So I have a grand total of 8500 miles on my car. And try as I might, the clutch pedal feels too long. Is there any way to shorten the throw arc, or move the pedal closer to the floor for a shorter engagement? Also the clutch feel is almost inconsistent and I have the steeda 35 lb clutch...
