I got mine at Firestone, but they were "hard to find" in the size I wanted so I got 255/40/18's on base rims and am using pole position 255/45/18 in the rear for now. Great grip for the front as I feel "no push" so far & they are quiet. Roll on!

Check Walmart.com and Amazon
Amazon has 1.... Yes. Only 1 in 255/40r19 and 1 265/40r19.

Walmart only has the offroad tires in the indy 500s for some reason?

Research the actual firestone part number for the size you want. Here's a photo of the Walmart website when I ordered my 285/35/19's. Photo is completely wrong but the part number was correct. I had them shipped to store and was worried the wrong tires were going to show up. Sure enough, the correct tires arrived to my relief.

Weird. 255/40r19XL weren't showing previously for some reason. Their search is terrible. I'm seeing 175$ each with free shipping, which is $700 even for 4. Tirerack shipped was 692$. >_<

Hey. Whatcha all think of putting a 285/35-19 on a eco pp 9* inch wide rim? Or am I going to be better off with a 275/40.

The Ecoboost PP wheels are 9" wide. 275/40R19 max.

They do but i think they're lesser than the lip on the Comp2 A/S I have on the car now but Ive gigged a rim with both sets of tires so it's pretty minimal protection either way.

Nah, I wouldn't categorize them as having any protective sort of rim guard... not enough to depend on for any protection

I have the EB with Premium Pack but just bought new wheels (SVE S350 19x10 square set)...I also want to go with the Firehawk Indy 500...should I go 275x40x19 or stick with 255x40x19 like my OEM tires?

I just installed my 255/45x18" Indys on APEX 18x9 wheels and they are spread out as far as I'd go... I'll have no problem fitting 275 width on the 9" wheels once I wear these out. Go 175 on your 10" rims, I believe the 255's will be too narrow for 10" wheels.

Since I am going 19x10 on the wheels would it be worth pushing it up to 285x40x19? Any benefits to going from 275 to 285? Look? Grip?

How about 285/35/19 on a 19x10. That's the size tire that most use and I would have to agree.

Those look great. The fitment looks perfect. Are you running any spacers on them?
