Give me just another moment to clean myself up... :shrug:Its 1241pm EST![]()
Just busting your chops. Can't wait to hear it and see some #sGive me just another moment to clean myself up...
Video coming soon.
This car sounds like a BEAST at 8250 on the dyno. :hail:
Meaning the active exhaust function is gone. Correct?https://www.facebook.com/HiPoJoeCharles/videos/820041091456930/?l=7032263355378672146
Here is a link to the video on the rollers.
The car has made about 15 dyno pulls this morning testing a few different exhaust components. I am very impressed with the outcome. Kooks Headers and Exhaust will be releasing a detailed Press Release soon. As soon as the official info is available, I'll share it.
This video is with a 100% complete Kooks exhaust on my 2016 GT350. The car currently has 150 miles on the odometer!
This system features 1 3/4" to 1 7/8" stainless steel stepped headers into a 3" catted X-Pipe through oval race spec mufflers. Each of these components were designed specifically for use on the "Shelby Project". You won't find any off the shelf "Coyote" components in this kit! This is a premium system designed by the experts at Kooks for the Shelby GT350.
all dyno miles...:cheers:The car currently has 150 miles on the odometer!
At this time, I'm not 100% sure. I know they tested with the factory OEM mufflers and with the new Kooks mufflers. The press release will have all the vital information listed.Meaning the active exhaust function is gone. Correct?
You know it!all dyno miles...

It sounds so much better under a load in the upper RPM! I know we would love the dyno video. :hail:I love the way it sounds! It's hard to explain, but it just sounds like the motor isn't trying as hard now.
While it would bolt to the heads, this system is designed for the Shelby GT350 with the 5.2L VooDoo platform. You would also need the correct rear bumper cover for the Shelby specific mufflers. But, the correct answer is NO.Would this fit a 15 GT ?
This isn't entirely true. The voodoo header flange is NOT the same as a coyote header flange. The center exhaust bolt pattern is different between the two engines. The only way the shelby headers will fit the coyotes is if kooks used a coyote flange. When I looked at the voodoo kooks headers they used the voodoo header bolt pattern and not the coyotes. Although the coyotes headers WILL fit the voodoo if you remove the two center exhaust port studs (which you have to do anyhow) and use the two adjacent bolt holes. The engineering did this so the assembly workers couldn't install coyote headers on the voodoo or vise versa. Notice the voodoo head below. While it would bolt to the heads, this system is designed for the Shelby GT350 with the 5.2L VooDoo platform.
