Sorry, what i meant was if the wiring of the 350 wheel itself has defects. Is that covered by any warranty?

Probably not, as it's 'modified from stock'. If you're not confident of the quality of the delivered part, you can re-use the backplane from your current steering wheel.

But realistically, as long as you pay attention to what you're doing and don't pinch wires, you'll be fine.

Just the negative. If you want to be safe, make sure the cable rests securely on something non-conductive like the battery cover.

car has been hooked up to the battery tender for over a month gonna unplug that before doing anything

I have a regular wheel at home I picked up right before the R wheels came out, and decided to order a R one and sell the regular one once it comes in.

Hoping it ships soon from Levittown
