d1 and 2200 will both be very efficient well into the 8s without issue.Not sure why i new head unit would be needed in 3 seconds. That honestly doesn't make any sense. As long as the inlet is filtered it wouldn't matter if the tube is there or not. I am in no way saying that big ole piece of foam that won't flow :doh:
Also, I am glad you got yours at such a great price, however I said with the upgrades I want. I want to have potential of 93 octane past 700rwhp+. This means the stage 2 package that beef has, upgrading the head unit to the D series, making everything black, getting a gauge, race valve (though not big race) and now we are at $8,338. I believe that steps into base whipple.
With that said, no calls yet and more paruzing
so 700 would not be an issue
again, the 8 rib comp vortech kit like heinz is running is only an 800 upgrade with the blower that is 1000wheel potential, but still very efficient at 650+
