Laztud,

Our original convo about this was in August and the last thing we spoke about was me asking for you to shoot me a call. After that it looks like you were emailing Evan who explained about the anodize and it being a dye and what you could do to fix it.

We also offer a warranty on our catch cans so I most certainly can fix and inspect this for you .

Thanks

561-588-6630

But I am more then happy to help out with this.

Wev stand behind all our products 100% and will always address a leak. As far as the color we do not paint any of our catch cans. They are all black anodized and it is a dye that penetrates the aluminum. If the color is off in an area it can only be from normal wear and tear. We do offer a remote mount setup that mounts off the strut tower.

I can tell you our oil separators / catch cans do work better than any other system on the market including the one you are speaking about. Most importantly if you have an issue just call us and we can address it as we never decline our product support.

Make sure you contact Evan or Steve by phone at 561-588-6630 and get this handled promptly.

Thank you and we look forward to supporting you, Joe

Props for UPR coming in and offering solutions.

I love my UPR unit, helped me run 11's by keeping my blow-by out of the intake!

Don't get me wrong, I love the can. I just hate that it leaks.
I sent an email Monday morning, it's now Wednesday night and still have no reply. I don't want one anymore, I am sure they are very busy this time of the year.

I am now looking for other options.

If you chose not to go back with the UPR, I used the Peterson setup on my '13GT and this setup is what a ton of Boss 302 road racers use. Here is mine from my '13GT. I had mine powdercoated black to hide it a bit more.

The Peterson setup is a breather not a catch can.

I'd let UPR get you squared away...they are a great bunch of guys! Call and talk to Steve.

My car seems to collect a lot of oil in my can. I HAD a JLT and it was still letting oil by which was causing it to get in the intake. It caused the octane to drop and it would cause knock. My car would pull as much as 8 degrees of timing due to this. I picked up the Bob's catch can which is really nice and my problem is solved.

I have a Bob's catch can too. I really like it.

After 2000 miles I drained it and 3 cap fulls of oil came out.

My UPR doesn't leak like that. I just ordered a Relocation Kit to move it under the strut bar though. I didn't like the way it just sat there and was leaving a mark on my Coolant Hose.

Same here with the mark on the coolant hose. I'm pretty sure it does but can anyone confirm the remote mounts works with a strut tower brace?

I have a UPR can that also leaks from the bottom. Been meaning to look into this but I've been busy. What mount are you guys talking about? I don't like how it just hangs either since it causes wear marks on the hose.
