Small update -
1) Shipped the head unit off to ProCharger, they put it onto their test bench and could not reproduce the "tap". They pulled the case apart and inspected the gears and whatnot - everything looks perfect. Bitter sweet....
2) I put my old accessory belt back on, no tap...motor purrs like the day I picked her up.
So I've ruled out the motor, all OEM accessories, and the ProCharger. The last three culprits are the ProCharger pulleys.
Anyone had a pulley go bad before? My ProCharger head unit should be back on Friday and I can resume my witch hunt....
