Here is the list of excuses from Ford for no dealership deliveries that's been given to customers across Australia in order just this week alone :WTF Is going on ford... Really
Here is the list of excuses from Ford for no dealership deliveries that's been given to customers across Australia in order just this week alone :
- Ongoing customs clearance delays
- Cars require software updates as Line lock function not disabled
- Cars require FM station retuning
- Cars not shipped with digital radios and they have to be replaced
- Cars not shipped with correct wheels
- "Extensive QA process to ensure the best customer experience"
Correct !!!! But given we won't see deliveries until January ... in WA we can also factor in vandalism over the Christmas New year break as Ford's Mustang holding area is close to a public road and not protected.Soon it will be,
7. Need to remove hail damage because we stored them outside for three weeks.
Just cricketsI went onto that Facebook link expecting to see a comment from Ford Australia but nothing there but the sound of silence.
Add to your list, no cars will be released until January as this was the "official" launch date. Here is the list of excuses from Ford for no dealership deliveries that's been given to customers across Australia in order just this week alone :

Classic Ford Australia communication based on having no clue what they are doing .... I came across this post by Ford to a query from a lady in Adelaide on when Mustangs would be in showrooms.Add to your list, no cars will be released until January as this was the "official" launch date.
Very good call mate. I started exactly that last night on Ford Australia's facebook.I'd encourage everyone to really have these discussions on Fords Facebook posts rather than here. This forum technically is the best place to have them, however the public pressure that can be applied from Facebook is phenominal. You can bet there more then happy that we talk here rather then in 'public' on FB, particularly when their pushing their marketing spiel.
If anything they might actually put up a spokesperson and say something official with some backbone.
I know I've been leaving digs at them all over their posts, and mine isn't even meant to get here till 16th Feb.
Haha nice one Greg, I've seen many of your post and chimed in a few times.
The silence from their FB department is astounding in its silence - how not to social media 101
