When is the first delivery to Oz?

It's staggering that we as Mustang customers have no voice with Ford Australia ... the arrogance they demonstrate in feeding us the BS they do along with a total lack of real communication is just astounding.

If we all lived in the same city it would be a mass turn up at Ford's offices after a call to Channel 7 to come here our grievances with Ford and what they had to say.

It's almost lunchtime ... I need a beer :cheers:

Nice touch ....
The early adopter poms who's Mustangs were built on the first RHD shift in August received the attached token of appreciation from the Chairman and Managing Director of Ford UK including a small plaque with the number of their build off the RHD UK line.

Don't expect this in Australia my fellow August RHD Australian build Mustang owners as "customer service and loyalty" is not in Graeme Whickman's DNA.

Nothing to see here ... move along.

I'm the only lucky one here who now has a month of calmness while the Tamerlane is on the high seas, well nearly anyway since it will be 7 days before it hits the high seas. Then I can sit back and relax as I follow it's progress to the sun-burnt country down under.
All I have to worry about now is whether that once in a 1000 year cyclone keeps travelling in the same direction.

Yeah Im still waiting to.... got nowhere with ford. though some good news my car has finally been released to Prixcar, waiting on the to now put it in the system and change the delivery to the dealership. however long that takes.

I have just found 38 Mustangs on that web site which all have a delivery to a holding location at Port Kembla
I'm not sure when they go to the dealer.
it's not showing them being booked yet.

One guy on the east coast said his dealership told him yesterday we won't get Mustangs before Christmas as Ford is holding them all up until the January official release. Not sure if that is true or not.

BTW: 'Frostee' on Whirlpool knows someone who has taken delivery from their dealer, so there are _some_ out there other than 3AWanker.
