John to add to your update ..... a pm just received from Ford Facebook guys which is counter to what they told me last month <sigh>. Does anyone at Ford Australia know WTF they are doing ? Not a criticism, just an observation :lol: If my front bumper has holes in it ... it'll be game on !!!

Hi Greg, the QA performed by Ford Australia on the Parisfal vehicles would be done from a manufacturing perspective, and not a retail perspective.
You will find your Dealership as a business will do a pre-delivery on the vehicle as they have certain responsibilities to their customers and so will have checklists of their own.
Have a chat to your selling Dealership as you may be lucky enough to pick it up on the day it arrives by truck!
As for the black brackets, they are fitted in the US but I’m sure your Dealer will be able to remove them if requested.

They certainly weren't visible on any of those cars we saw driving off the ship and onto the docks.

I wouldn't get too excited Gurdeep. My car finished production at the plant on the 16th Oct. It was then released to the body company (upfitter) to finish the assembly process. Then returned to the plant and released, and put out to await shipment, and then shipped to the port in Baltimore, MD, where it arrived on the 13th Nov. It sat at the Docks until yesterday (having various things done to it) and then loaded overnight into the Tamerlane.
As you can see it can take a fair bit of time.

I just read a review of a UK Ecoboost (UK Local Section) and looks like their indicators are on the left side of the steering column. Pretty sure ours are on the right.

Had a "special call" from the manager at my dealership regarding the "fantastic news" regarding my mustang. He went on to say that my car made the last boat which arrives in melbourne on the 10th January and that I should have it end of Jan. Amusing thing about this is my car departed 21st November on the Tarago and reaches Melbourne 23rd December. I'm dumbfounded at the lack of knowledge.
