What area and date and time was this dyno? do you have a printout or pic of the time? I am curious on the density altitude during the run. and yes removal of the Cats is what increases your power not really the LT themselves. The Cats are the biggest restriction on basically any modern car. you will always free up power gutting or removing them.

At around 11AM.

I have only seen about 7 hp with the cats removed. I remove mine for track events, they do not hold up well at WOT on road courses. They will eventually melt down..

Rush what are you tire sizes? I'm needing to get new ones soon and hate the ones I have now.

Rush, nice numbers man. Would going E85 make a noticeable increase to his already insane numbers? E85 is becoming more common around where I live and all my boosted buddies swear by it.

Of course
Hate to be annoying, but how much gain are we talking? I'm trying to decide between a Lund or AED tune for 5.0 and I'm considering the E85 option for $100 extra. Just wanna' make sure it's worth it is all.

There's also the new Livernois tuning option that automatically adapts to different octane, and E85 without any re-tune :)

Seriously? That's nuts. You know, having options for tunes is great, but between the three, I have no idea who to pick now. Lol. The fact that the Livernois tune can adapt on the fly without any re-tuning is pretty nifty though. In terms of power gains, how would the three tunes stack up against each other?

Here's their product introduction thread:

http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37524

Worth a read, lots of questions and with answers from the vendor. Yeah, it's pretty slick, apparently there's some OEM sensors that are read to determine the type of fuel on-the-fly, and apparently no need for different injectors for the E85 tune/mode.

I think most of the well known tuners make a terrific product, and I know quite a few from my Corvette days that were well reviewed, so it's hard to go wrong, but this definitely adds an interesting option.
