I'm trying to purchase a new trailer for the GT350, but don't have mine yet.

Can one of the lucky members measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the drivers door for clearing a trailer fender?

near the front of the door about 9.75", closer to the rear of the door, ~11".

Thank you Twin! I knew the white/blue/track guys were a cut above the rest. :D

R measurements.

I just checked, it is 9 3/8 " minimum clearance for the entire length of the underside of the driver's door. It did not seem to matter whether or not I was sitting in the car or not.

I cheat because I'm old and lazy. But I have small ramps (2x10 stacked two high) that my front tire pulls up on for two reasons. 1, it clears the door on a lowered car and most importantly.. 2, I can get under the car easier to tie it down!

Where are you going to grab an anchor point on yours? (Front and Rear)

I was hoping to use the tie downs specified by Ford in the rail and Haulaway manual (page 25 and 26):
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...XRdbVm8cpsAqsk4kA&sig2=H_e3MvxiZQTGm_JJ45zksw

But that would likely require a change to the trailer tie down locations. I was looking at an all-aluminum, closed-deck, open trailer that had non-removable fenders, but with a height of only 7.5 inches.

I think I'm going to use these locations for the front. The rear (even on our '15 GT) is going to be a PITA.

I might consider a front tow hook kit so I can winch the car in.

It is infuriating that Ford didn't make a reasonable accommodations for tow hooks, front or rear. I had the same issue on my 03 Cobra.

A tow hook is going to be the first modification I do to the car, even if I have to build it myself.

I share your frustration. A track car without tow hooks :headbonk:
