corsa sport vs extreme

xtremes are installed now. its different. raspy as hell., I hope it smooths out similar to the way the sports did. can someone confirm this? its not nearly as loud as I was afraid it was going to be. don't get me wrong, it is louder than the sports. inside the car windows up is was about the same as the sports, just a wee bit louder- which is what I wanted. best way to describe it is that is a different tone. maybe break in will make it deeper but it is more high pitched, like a trumpet.

what are you xtreme owners thoughts after exhaust break in vs when first put on?

that's what we were talking about, the tone difference. it's more exotic. it's deeper than what you think though. you just need to have someone else drive the car and you listen to drive bys

it really hasn't changed since any break in that I've noticed. maybe a tad quieter but just a little... it could be my ears making me think that from sinus infection i've had too... so i really don't know lol.

Lmao, a trumpet. That's funny. Happen to have a video up and available just yet? I'm out of town and won't be back home until Sunday, so it's going to be a few days for me unfortunately. Until then, I have to live through you man.

Gonna be stalking all of your posts until I get home now. I knew it'd be raspy, but sounds like it might be a little raspier than I hoped. Either way, I refuse to go back to the quiet ass sports.

I just did headers with my xtremes. Holy hell its louder than I could have imagined. Like legit NASCAR loud. But I still like it. Might have to resign from the HOA board now though. Lol.

I've heard the Corsa Touring is a good muffler match for LT's.

If noticed once you drive around a while once the exhaust heats up that there is less overall rasp in the lower rpms. When it's cooler its there just earlier. But its a definitely a unique tone.
