Ler me get mine in one piece first but yesss we definitely need a "steveston Garry point" photoshoot I got the blue, black stripes, tech pack.. Tell me something am I right not to get the black roof in bc with all the rain and water spots??

At least your cars are in the pipeline. My R was ordered at the end of July and it is still in limbo. Ford didn't tell the dealership they couldn't order the car for over three weeks.
When they printed the order sheet I had the Owner and G.M. sign so they're in a hell of a bind.
Allocations were given to 27 dealers, unless I was lied to, and they are the 28th dealer. The owner has worked his way up to the Division level and they're supposed to get me a car. Who knows.
I'm amazed at how poorly Ford has handled the whole situation.
When I worked for Diemler/Chrysler we wouldn't have handled a situation like this as far as I know.

Sounds like the dealer, not Ford, is at fault for selling you something it can't get - especially since it didn't get an allocation. This apparently has happened a few times around the U.S. during the last few months - dealers taking orders without having an allocation or without joining the Shelby program.

They went through the program. But apparently the person that went through the program didn't pass on the info to the G.M.

Finally.... build scheduled for week of Jan 11th.... assuming it doesn't get moved back, that would likely mean delivery the last week of the month

with my luck, the entire nation will be in the grips of an epic ice storm around that time :-)

What was the big delay? Did ford not accept the order or? Dealer?

Magnetic tech package with black strips was what I first ordered. After seeing a magnetic with black and one with white strips I changed to white strips. The small white strip outlining the black strip was not taste.

Hopefully I will be driving mine around north dallas late Feb or ?. Planning on a trip to cars and coffee in Frisco.

mine has been sitting at the plant built since 10/22, almost one month and still no word from anyone on when it may be released at all. I just dont get it.
