Hello all. Ordered my 2016 white GT on 10/5/2015 and it came in last Friday Nov. 13th. Faster turn around than I expected. Fully expected 7-8 weeks. My first Mustang, and man this thing is gorgeous. This is a great forum and I am very glad I joined.

LOL thanks man. I have nooo idea. I didn't expect it to come in so fast because I had a pretty bad priority number. I fully expected to be waiting a few more weeks. Build date of 11/30?? Jesus. Mine had a build date of 11/5 and arrived on the evening of 11/12.

My priority code is 19 and I have no idea what that is. I am also being told to expect delivery at the end of December. It would be nice to receive it within a week of the build date! Once mine does finally show up I will have to wait probably another 4-5 days for them to install the supercharger, exhaust and lowering springs...I may just sit in the car while the tech works on it!
Congrats again! Oh and pics!! Lol

My priority code is 19 as well. I am also charging mine. I am hoping the supercharger and exhaust both get in next week. I am in Pittsburgh, PA and mine will be put in the garage for winter here in about 2-3 weeks. Just hoping the snow holds off until then. I am soooo nervous about the charger install. I know it is warrantied... but someone shaving and cutting my engine block scares the piss outta me lol I will get some pics and upload.

19 is the default priority for a customer order. It can go as low as 10 for a normal customer order. It only effects orders from your dealer. The lower the code, the higher the "priority". But order date is usually the defining factor... earliest order date usually gets built first.

Keep buyin' goodies while you wait until a) you run out of room, or b) you run out of money. I've had my new ride for a month-and-a-half, and still haven't got everything on it I bought before delivery.

Best of Luck!
That is all...

Hi MikeD1, I believe that could be a Roush /Ford Performance S/C from the instructions and videos I read. The manuals look the same to me.

Here's a link to the Roush Phase 1 instructions: http://www.roushperformance.com/parts/manuals/421823-5L-Phase1-ROUSHCHARGER-kit.pdf

There are some bosses on the front of the engine facing and also under the intake that have to be trimmed to allow fitment.

FRONT COVER MODIFICATION
Wear safe eye protection when grinding to prevent
serious personal injury.
1. If not already done so, clean the engine surfaces
with brake clean and dry with shop air.
2. Block off the grinding area to prevent debris and
metal shavings from spreading through the engine
compartment.
3. Using a grinder or cut-off wheel, modify the front
cover in the areas shown. The two (2) bosses
located at A and B need to be reduced in height
such that they are flush, or lower than the height
of the nearby rib structure. The boss located at C
needs to be reduced in height and cut in half.

INTAKE VALLEY MODIFICATION
1. Mark the boss in the intake valley behind the
water pump mounting location as shown.
2. Use a grinder or suitable tool to grind the boss
down across the entire length. Make sure to take
off material uniformly along the angle. If high
spots are left, the intake manifold will not seat
properly on the engine.
3. Vacuum out metal shavings.

I wanted to have the same supercharger put in, but have a house foundation problem to fix which will cost about the same.

I do have some good news though as I GET MY CAR TOMORROW!

Thank you sir. That is correct, the Ford Racing/Roush. It has to be done in order to fit under the hood, from what I've seen.

Ahh, yes - have to grind down those bosses for it to fit. I thought you meant someone was having to shave down the top of the block for the manifold to fit on - LOL !!
That I would have a MAJOR heart attack over !!

Deysha emailed me a few days back that the new date to the dealer is 28th NOV. The original date given to me by the dealer was 9th NOV. FMC is really testing my patience...

A friend of mine ordered a BMW and it was delivered in 40 days, from Germany. Plus they had a functional website where he could track progress.
It was just loaded onto a rail car yesterday, kcphoto21. Remember, all ETAs are always subject to change. It should ship out soon.

True. Imo it really should not take that long to get our cars if ordered cars were given priority over dealer stock. These cars are already spoken for so why would Ford not want to build them and get them out of the way? I am sure there is more involved then what I am saying but still. Also holding these cars in "Area 51" doesn't help the waiting process.
Orders are scheduled based on the following criteria, SynisterGT:
- the priority code rating
- the dealer's allocation for each production week
- the ordered option content
- the receipt date
The receipt date is a factor when breaking ties for orders with the same priority code. Therefore, the date is the last factor. Also, if they find anything wrong with 1 vehicle, they will hold all the ones built around the same date to check them. This way you don’t receive a vehicle that could be defective or a danger to you. I hope this helps.

Wooo Hooo....got her yesterday! Actually could have gotten her earlier but didn't know about her arriving until Sunday night. Dealer called me on my home phone Friday night when I was out. Then as I have that phone that blinks down on the floor, I didn't see the message light, not that it would have caused me to check because I hardly ever do. Anyway, twice Saturday and unknown number called and left no message. That number called again Sunday night so I figured I'd find out who was calling! It was the sales rep letting me know the car arrived early. It wasn't expected to be in until today.

My Borla Sport cat back arrived yesterday. The box was too long to angle it in the Mustangs trunk. Today is no rain, tomorrow rain. I'll drive my truck tomorrow to pick it up and my son and I will put it on Saturday.

I took some photos but as my old digital camera has more settings than I'm familiar with, something was off and most were so freaking dark that I had to auto correct them. I should have taken some with my iPhone 6s! Anyway, I was running out of daylight and was in a hurry. I'll get some better ones.

Yellow Jacket interior!
