They were probably just surprised is all, I mean the 4 cylinders are hanging with the V8's nowadays unless it's from a roll race where there top end is just so much more then the 4 cylinder. I mean if I had a tuned 5.0 running in the 11's and then I seen a 4 cylinder do it with just a tune and a few bolt ons I would be mad as f*** lolWhy would they make faces? 4 cylinders are hanging with mods. Which isnt exactly a new thing. Why would you be mad your v8 ran 11s with a tune when the 4 cylinder is more modified? Sti, evos, srt4s and hondas etc have been doing this for awhile. :lol: my daily sti on a stock turbo on e85 ran 11.6s for awhile. Put a bigger turbo on my daily to make it more fun while the 14 gt500 was getting weekend warrior duty. When i get a gt itll fill my sold gt500s role. I don't see any more mods on some of these 4 cylinders in the 11's then on the 5.0 cars in the 11's. I would be mad if my v8 with the same number of mods ran the same time as a 4 cylinder with the same number of mods especially the same exact car like the mustang but that's just me. da and driver mod is a big factor of why you see some pretty mediocre times for these modded gts. You must remember the ecoboost is a nice bit lighter too. Once they make close to 400whp that advantage becomes noticeable. People are generally horrible at drag racing. We have two gts damn near in the 10s with the basic bolt on mods. This is why I'm considering trading my eco for a GT and whipple it. Don't know if I want to do the full engine build + aux fueling.There's also 5.0's in the 8's on the stock bottom end though..
The raw capabilities of the 5.0 out of the box is quite a bit ahead of the EB.
5mph is not a small gap,and im sure that big turbo has quite a bit more in it.ok, this shit does not make sense. so a stock turbo car traps 117 and a BIG turbo car traps 122? are these turbo upgrades just a joke or what? you make livernois look pretty silly

What about stepen with a 6m and tune cai and longtubes.Proper wheel/tire combo and a converter make a big difference.
