I don't plan on driving it in snow. Just on super cold days.

I picked these up Friday for a winter tire setup. Winter tires will be blizzacks.

Now should I go squared with the 9" wide wheels on winter tires and the 9.5" wheels with summers?

OR

Stay with the factory staggered setup?

Today was the first day I drove her in the snow...Road conditions were slick, morning traffic was heavy. So in general driving was bumper to bumper crawling.

I do have Michelin Ice X tires and all I can say she feels like she wants to play/drift especially when making turns...Even with snow mode engaged, the car feels quite powerful, torquey and no slouch. It must be the 3.73 gears.

In general stop and go was a piece of cake for her while FWD cars were spinning and barely moving I could easily pass them....I'm yet to take her to a playing field for shenanigans.

This was last year. What looks like snow on the hood and top is solid ice. Tennessee was closed that day.
This year it is sleeping in the garage...

I was anxious to drive it in the snow but it was fine and it might even be fun. It was nice to test the blizzaks and traction control. My first Mustang and rwd in winter

thanks all...

thanks to all in this thread about the american muscle 19x8.5 wheels fitting on the '16 gt performance pack car. my car came in today and they mounted them up with only one slight issue... one of the wheels had to be re-balanced because they found that a weight used to balance hit the brembo caliper. they simply moved the weights and no more problems.

Nice!!! It's crazy that the clearance was that close!

yeah so after reading that on the invoice, i went and looked and it is close. i was all worried about clearance between the spoke and the caliper but there is at least 1/2" in that direction.

what is really crazy though is the clearance between the spoke and the brembos on the s197 boss! fingernail close!
