Looking for weight savings and performance for autocross. Does anybody have an exhaust that incorporates a single exit, with or without resonator, that includes a 3" length 100 cell race cat?
This seems to be what everybody is looking for with STU prepped autocross ecoboost.

There was someone here that did that. But you might have to use the search function to find it.

We built a custom single exit catback for our car. It weighs in at just under 20lbs with only a borla muffler.

The downpipe is a non catted unit it from FFTEC.

Ultimate Racing is still the only game for a single setup unless you go custom.

Im running the Ultimate Racing single exit with no resonator. Unsure of weight but its extremely light. Fitment was spot on and sounds great.

stock catback, resonator delete but kept drivers side exhaust exit and muffler delete after. very well mannered for cruising but once the hammer is down and over 4500rpm, itll scream. I actually get complimented a lot by it.

ill try to get one after work today. basically though the resonator is 1 in 2 out. cut the resonator out and straight pipe connecting to the drivers side making it 1 in 1 out. (passenger side is deleted for weight savings) then delete the muffler on the drivers side. its a straight piped (except for stock cat) stock exhaust system made single exit.

So all the exhaust is passing through one 2 1/4" pipe. Probably not the best for performance but I bet the stock DP is still the biggest restriction in the setup.

downpipes are always the biggest gains in turbo exhaust setups but if you look at any catback system dynos the gains are minimal and shift the powerband slightly higher up. to me I didn't see any point in dropping over $1000 for a catback to get 10hp and a different exhaust note. I just wanted to drop as much weight as possible while being able to actually hear my car. when I do install my downpipe I will definitely have to weld in a muffler (always have good luck with vibrants) but so far the only catback I would even consider for my weight reduction agenda is oddly enough the CP-E. I'm just concerned with the dump placement effects on the passenger rear suspension bushings but then again I played around with the idea of a hood exit dump so I probably wouldn't care if I had it lol

I've got a off-rode downpipe and i installed a qtp cutout right before the downpipe ends, just before the big resonator. I'm able to open and close the cutout, huge s/o to qtp for making wireless key fobs. haven't dynod the gains but i def. feel the difference. huge difference!!
