Drove my Lightning to work today.

It was terrible. I kept trying to step on a clutch pedal that wasn't there. Kept trying to push the start button that wasn't there. I've got 295's all around so it kept following the ruts in the road. The stereo is way better. It's faster than my mustang but a whole lot more rough. It is 13 years old.

You think that's bad you should try jumping into a ttop foxbody! I forgot how many squeeks and rattles my little tin can made. Something about that 60mph dash shake soothes the soul.

I miss my noisy Eaton supercharger. I got used to the whine and now it is gone.

Well there is a way to have that noise with the mustang! Just expensive.

Try going from a GT with PP and Steeda suspsension to a 2012 Focus with auto trans. Gutless, hinky transmission, and crappy seats. Almost ripped the shifter off the console the other day trying to downshift for a red light, stomped the floor twice for the clutch, and turned the rear defroster on to shut the engine off.

Always wanted a lighting. If they ever make one with AWD I would buy it in a heart beat.

Try going from a GTPP to an F-150 4.6L. Going from gut wrenching acceleration and very nice cornering to 10 second 0-60 and a rolling truck chassis that couldn't pull 0.5G to save it's life. I've taken a few corners in this thing almost on 2 wheels since I stopped driving the mustang. Not intentionally.

Got you all beat. 00 Ford ranger with mud tires. 70mph in the rain is terrifying after driving a car that is smooth and planted. I felt that any moment it would fall apart and i would be rolling down the freeway. Im really gonna miss my car this winter.

Since picking up my '15 GT I have been neglecting my built, blown '05 which only has 22k miles on it. Went on a fishing trip with our company guys a few weeks ago and had to drive 50 minutes to my dad's waterfront place in the '05. It was great! Love the '05 too and the stump pulling torque. Both great cars and very different.

Not a Lightning but drove my 95 Cobra with Maximum Motorsports sport/track coilovers and 3.73 w torsen.

The 2015 PerfPack "bounce" seems non-existent by comparison. But the 95 is just so damn gokartish. 275s front 315s rear.

Cannot wait to hopefully put my 331 in next year. 2nd gear will be as useless as 1st gear is currently.

Drove mine today as well and I seem to do the exact same thing lol reaching for the clutch.
