It can be a nuisance. We were doing just over 200kph on our way to Trier on Sunday and Untamed67 and NewMustangGER suddenly noticed we were supposed to take an exit. I completely overshot it, lol. I did catch back up with them a bit later though, after I figured out how to get back. Good fun.
I was actually wondering what was keeping Glenn G, but I guess he was actually paying attention to the road signs.

The difference there is that they actually know how to drive, while here in the U.S. you can get a license by filling out some papers and passing a written test without ever sitting behind the wheel... At least that's the way it is in Texas and we have some horrible drivers that sit in the fast lane giving people the finger ever time they're honked at to get out of the way.

This is true, our crazy slow speed limits in the US has tuned all of our people into driving zombies barely paying any attention to the road when they arent texting or playing with their phone.

If you don't pay attention on the Autobahn, you will wreck. Funny how the only country in the world with unlimited speeds has one of the lowest car accident and death rates in the world. The US with some of the lowest speed limits in the world in the world is damm near the top and keeps wanting to lower it.

I feel safer at 120 mph on the Authobahn than I did at 50, my last trip to the US, where I was nearly rear ended twice, was basically run off the road and watched a 3 car pile up which to me was the speed I have to drive in a construction zone over here.

My MPG actually improved over this weekend, due to loads of highway (the non Autobahn ones) driving. Did test the speed on the unlimited parts though. Fortunately my girlfriend cannot tell what's on the speedometer from her spot above 120kph.
