Does anyone know of any company making a engine cover for our V6's?? The engine bay needs something decorative like that as well as functional pieces like a strut tower brace.

There is a thread somewhere on here where someone took a S197 cover and it fit with some modifications.

I do wish we had valve covers like the GT with the "Powered by Ford" engraved on them. I dont see how it could work though with all the tubes etc. on there.

This is the cover I'm talking about:

Not sure what is required to fit it on this car.
I've seen that and it's cool. I'm talking about a company producing them for the 2015 and up Mustang. There's many V6's out there both people like us who bought them or people who will get them either directly or through rental companies selling them after they're done with them. So I would imagine a decent market for engine covers and yes even valve covers .

I hear ya. I cant find the thread but someone did get this to fit on this car.

I see a lot of V6's in my area. Actually it seems like most convertibles I see are V6. So there is definitely a market for the 6, but for some reason no one is interested. We could really use some inexpensive cosmetic mods like an engine cover. I mean we only have 2 options for catbacks at the moment, Gibson or Borla. :frusty:

I agree, since many companies visit this forum perhaps someone will take up the cause and do something lol

I had a cover on my 13 v6. They are a foam material so you can cut out spots....might fit, easy to work with

It is a pity Ford and aftermarket manufactures just do not seem interested in V6 devolpment.I am guessing this is because of the price of the V6 compared to the other two models. Maybe they think we (V6 owners) would not spend as much money.I bought the V6 because I did not want a 4 cylinder and did not want to spend the big bucks for a V8. I am guessing Ford did not offer a V6 premium package as it would have hurt the EcoBoost sales.

Of course, that's exactly right but still there must be a market for a V6 Engine Dress Up Kit. I'm just surprised that nothing seems to be out by now. I'll be spending money on my car precisely because it was inexpensive. Exterior and interior improvements are on my list as well as performance upgrades and Engine appearance. All it takes is a company or individual with the skills and vision to see the market!:ford::ford::ford:

yeah i think the eco has stolen the lime light...remember everybody raving about the 3.7 in 2011? not the excitment seems to be gone and everybody..including ford has pushed the v6 to the side. relegayed to rental car fodder. i love the 3.7! i drove a eco and honestly..i didnt care for it at all. and im not apposed to a 4cyl mustang...i built a 2.3turbo 87lx and loved it. im hoping that...while slow...the s550 v6 aftermarket will someday catch up. i think it will...just might take a while

It's funny how everyone says that the V6 will be the rental fleet car, but in my area at almost any Enterprise, if they have a Mustang, it's been and EcoBoost. But this is just from what I've seen so that doesn't count for much.
But I agree, the market for our car is slow. It's slowly picking up, so it seems our only option is patience

Very true. I've actually seen all 3 engines on several rental car lots where I live.

The Miami Police have asked the rental car companies to not rent GT Mustangs because they cannot catch those speeding German tourists in Coyote powered Mustangs.:eyebulge: No just kidding! Rental cars rent the V-6 powered Mustangs for one reason only...to make money! Low initial cost, low maintenance costs, and high reliablity and resale is why the Cyclone powered rental cars are very profitable as rental units.:clap2:
