Out of curiousity what is holding this car back the most? Head, intake (manifold), fuel system or all of them combined? Dont get me wrong these cars are running great ETs but the MPH feels like we should be getting faster by now. Again not taking a shot at all because i know how hard it is to rip cars, have a high reving N/A manual fox lol.

EDIT: when i say this car i mean the ecoboost in general.

Which track are you headed to? I wouldn't mind a road trip to see this beast in action, plus get a look at the turbo setup.

Palm Beach International Raceway which is in Palm Beach Gardens

You are welcome! What is the car making for power?

Oh yea, be confused on the name change haha.

We're making just under 450rwhp now. Going to do a secondary rail with fuel cell shortly and convert to E85.

I believe that fuel supply is the biggest issue. Gearing too. We only made 2 passes the other night with the best mph of 116. Hope to improve on those times tomorrow with some more seat time.

I was thinking of going to PBIR in the next few weeks. If I get off work early enough and the wife lets me I'm going to try and make it tomorrow so I can see your run.

i trapped 115 with a full weight car (3780) on 19's 1.6x 60 so not a lot of spin, you say you dynoed 450 in an earlier post, i understand dynos are all different but damn its hard to believe im making that kinda power so my question would be, how was the run? where there any issues? i mean do you feel there a lot more mph? once again congrats on a smoking manual time

Good choice, you going to be using the CPE kit? I was talking with Ron over there about getting one to use on the MAP car, it looks like a nice kit!

I was using the Split Second box on the MAP 640whp car, but I think next time around I want to see what I can do with Microsquirt or something with a little more control!

Is your car a manual or auto?

We didn't log the car so we really can't say for sure how the back end of the run looked other than from the timeslip. We only picked up 23mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4 but that seems consistent with some other Ecoboost 1/4 mile time slips I've looked at.

We also only made 2 passes so we really haven't gotten 100% comfortable with where to launch and shift the car.

We did however trap 116+ on the 2nd pass but the ET was slower because of the slower 60ft time.

I guess we'll see how it runs tonight and take it from there.

We'll be using the CP-E secondary rail setup. Not 100% sure about the controller. That's something that Power by the Hour will handle for us.

Steely eyed missile man behind he wheel. Solid launch and shift outta the hole, very impressive! Was that flat foot shifting?
