That is my plan as well (if I have issues). Fingers crossed.

My dealer contacted his zone rep and said it's not in production but hasn't left the plant and is probably having whatever issue corrected before releasing it for shipping. They have until 11/17 as per the Lemon Law case to deliver.

Well, I spoke to Ford CS and my car shows in Production again, yesterday and twice last week it showed that it finished being built 10/1. What the hell?!? My EDD hasn't changed and shows 10/15-10/21 which is not going to happen if it's still at the factory. This is a replacement vehicle for the one I won my Lemon Law claim on and there's obviously an issue with it. I'm seriously thinking of just having it bought back and I'll go buy an Infiniti instead. My patience are wearing thin and all the aggravation isn't worth it.

I have a really nice, ultra low mile, totally loaded Infiniti M45s for sale right now :D

Best way to pass the time while you're waiting for your new car. I had all of my mods ordered and in stock by the time I took delivery of my car :D Enjoy the shopping

Lol I agree, shop every night! I was skeptical(since I ordered through text message), but as soon as Deysha found the car I went ahead and placed some orders!

It remains “In production” while it hasn’t been released from the plant in our system, PonyGrrrl. The primary status shows “in production” and the secondary shows “produced.” Since it hasn’t been released from the plant, it’s still “in production.” I hope this helps.

Easy Brotha... I ordered mine the first week of June. I had my eta changed twice. It's now on the move. Mine was built on Sept 9. I couldn't get a straight answer to why it stayed at the plant so long. Have patience. It should be just about perfect when you get it. ( at least that's what i keep telling myself.)

The problem is that I sold my car. I have not had one for a month. I can't go another month without a car.

Just to balance out the universe, I have just the opposite issue - can't sell my car to save my life

It's home! Happy to report there seems to be no panel gap issues that I could tell. The rear window is slightly off but only really notice it if you're looking for it so no issues there. So good job on the QA. Unfortunately, I did find a scuff walking around the car on the rear bumper, after taking it home of course. It was covered up by all the dirt and grime from shipping. Going to see the detailer tomorrow and see if he can just buff it before I talk to the dealership about it. Also my key to the locking lug nuts is missing, have to see what the dealer can do about that.

To my knowledge from the factory - no. Same reason you can't get an auto with the PP. They sell it as a package option... you gotta take it all or leave it all. Not like the original Mustangs... ordering was 'a la carte'. Add any individual option you wanted. I'm still laughing at the 50+ years of prop rods for the hood.

I was after only the Brembos and the larger radiator, but buying them separately was more than the cost of the PP option.

That is all...
Thanks, Waldorf. It doesn't really make any sense - I'm only pointing to this one example of the wheels. For them to allow another upcharge for 20s vs. 19s makes a lot of sense. They need not go the route of, as an example, Mini, where there appears to be 1000 options all interchangeable. Ford is on the other side of the spectrum, where it takes you a maximum of 3 minutes to configure a mustang because the scope of possibilities is so finite.

So be on the lookout for my soon to be posted 19" PP wheels and tires with approx. 14 miles on them.

Mahalo.

I think it actually started with the Japanese. One used to be able to pick and choose options; the Japanese started "packaging" and the Big 3 followed suit. Ford has a serious rut problem they try once in a while to get out of, but always seem to fall back in. Example: A TOTALLY new Mustang in 2015. All that carried over were the 2 icons: the pony, and the shape of the tail lights (oh.. and the prop rod) So... for 2016... retro hood mounted turn signals. GeeZus! I've got to walk around the car to actually SEE the one on the passenger's side. Maybe they got some of the bad batch of drugs that must have been going around the GM Tech Center in Warren when GM was designing the body on the 2016 Camaro. But, at least the Camaro comes with hood struts!!!! :D All kidding aside, the options "packages" are probably a call made by the bean counters.

Mine are coming off as soon as my tires get here. Cleaning those is WORK!

Congrats to all you guys who have new rides this week! And to all of you still waiting for your new Mustangs, I can attest that if ya'll hang in there, it will be worth the wait! Also, please remember that Deysha is just the "messenger", NOT the problem.

That is all...

Hi Guys. I just wanted to chime again. As I mentioned I haven't had a car for over a month since I sold mine in anticipation of my arriving Mustang. Well today was my arrival date and it was changed overnight to TBD.

I just want to let you know how awesome my dealer is, Pundmann Ford in St. Louis. They were very sympathetic to the ever changing ETA from Ford and have offered me a loaner car to get me around until my GT arrives. They are the epitome of excellent customer service.

Thank you Pundmann!

Ford, get your act together and get these cars built, shipped and delivered! (And don't forget to install the seat belts correctly). :frusty:
