Is COTUS even working at all? I have been using VINs from cars that are on dealer's lots right now just to see if it works, but it won't find any info on anything. The page looks funky too, so I don't even know if I am going to the right place any more.

Deysha, I sent you a PM about tracking my car; it is supposed to be built this week. Thanks again for all of your hard work!

It does work just not for any 2016 so far. Just tried this one, 1FA6P8TH7F5308516 it's a 2015 from a local dealer near me and it works

Quick question - does anyone know why Ford won't sell you their 20" rims when you add the performance pack? There don't appear to be any issues with loads of people adding aftermarket 20's to the car with the PP factory installed. So is this just a marketing thing? And could you convince them to do it anyway if you have the right dealer rep?

To my knowledge from the factory - no. Same reason you can't get an auto with the PP. They sell it as a package option... you gotta take it all or leave it all. Not like the original Mustangs... ordering was 'a la carte'. Add any individual option you wanted. I'm still laughing at the 50+ years of prop rods for the hood. :doh:

I was after only the Brembos and the larger radiator, but buying them separately was more than the cost of the PP option.

Probably so. Buying aftermarket stuff helps... for a while. That is... until the credit card is maxed out, the bank account is empty, or the garage/basement is full. Spreading the buying out over time is best for the depression. At least when you order on-line, you'll KNOW EXACTLY when it is going to arrive! No Area 51 hang ups!

Makes me want to tear my hair out that the COTUS tool only works for selected VIN's. They're all in the same database, why some get locked out & others work is enough to drive me mad.

Mine was suppose to get built today - fingers crossed it did & everyone was rested from the weekend, singing a happy tune, lov'in their jobs & had a keen eye today in Flat Rock

Delivery week is here! Hopefully! Really hoping my car gets here early so I can do the paint protection before going out of town this weekend. Would hate to get it only to have to park it for a week and take the wife's car. Either way I'm excited.

COTUS is a tracking site that is still in a pilot phase and has not been rolled out for all regions or vehicle nameplates, MikeD1. What you find on the site may not be the most up-to-date information.

Hi Guys. First post over on this forum. Here are my details.

Order date: 9/8
Build Date ETA 9/28
Actual Build date 9/29
Original ETA - 10/16
ETA now 10/10-10/14

Problem with my order is that the status on my car has not been updated since 10/4. It says that it's:

"In Transit. Received - (Voith Industrial Services Inc.) Ramp 4G, Mi Assebly Plnt, MI. ETA 10/10-10/14."
VIN = 1FA6P8CF7G5237415

According to my dealer there is some sort of HOLD on my car. No one knows why, and no one has been able to help explain to me when I can expect my car. The ETA of tomorrow is highly unlikely to happen given that apparently my car is still sitting on a ramp at the factory.

I have sent a message to Deysha over on the mustangsource forum. Hopefully she can shed some light on this for me.

I just sent you a response, nortoncommando. This does happen. Any delays at the plant are proprietary information, but it should get loaded and ship soon.

My EDD hasn't changed and shows 10/15-10/21 which is not going to happen if it's still at the factory. This is a replacement vehicle for the one I won my Lemon Law claim on and there's obviously an issue with it. I'm seriously thinking of just having it bought back and I'll go buy an Infiniti instead. My patience are wearing thin and all the aggravation isn't worth it.
