you can do it with any intake, just leave the recir line unhooked and then cap off the port on the intake with a chair rubber leg stoppers, think its around 1"

Another question to anyone out there, will the black colored intake retain more heat than the lighter colored ones thereby affecting performance?

A black colored intake shouldn't retain more heat than the other colors. I've heard the intake pipe gets warm at most. I got mine in Deep Impact. Will be doing some pics when I install it.

I was going to do deep impact as well but couldn't find any pics of how it looked in the engine bay. For example the white one looks kinda ugly in the engine bay even if your car is white. Also I wasn't sure if it was really deep impact blue like my car or just a generic blue. Either way can't wait to install and get an updated tune.

I actually like the White one.. although it wouldn't make sense for me being my EB is Shadow Black..

I appreciate the responses, I hope others care to share their experiences as well. I'm hesitant to order Black until I know it won't negatively impact performance, the only other color I'd consider is Silver but I would prefer the Black.

Also, some pics of the unpainted would be nice, that could be an option for me as well.

Eh, for that price I had to order one to match the car. I can also try to do a comparison between the stock box w/ drop in, MAP, and MMR at the track day in November. G/f will be a bit pissy, but she will get over it....or take her attitude elsewhere...lol.
