Please don't say that. Good thoughts for NorCal cars. ... think I'll call my dealer and see if it's out of Benicia yet ...I wonder if I'm part of this too?
I was told Monday or Tuesday on Friday. Ford customer service this morning said its scheduled to deliver tomorrow. I'm pretty sure since I haven't been told, that it's not being held for any issue. It take a long time for cars to get through Benicia. It's a large port for autos inbound outbound to other countries, not just domestic rail. After tomorrow I'm going to have questions though. Please don't say that. Good thoughts for NorCal cars. ... think I'll call my dealer and see if it's out of Benicia yet ...

Hi All,
Just joined the forum, its a great place to get all sort of info the stang's.
I'm almost on the verge of closing a deal on a 2016 Ecoboost premium Guard with a sale price of $26299 (MSRP 31590) and OTD of $28294. I was getting the Ford Retail customer rebate $500, dealer discount of around $4200 and Student rebate of $500. Do you guys think its a fair deal for me to proceed or shall I shop around and try to get a better one.
Thanks
Thanks Jeanne, I think I will go ahead with it.
It's an 08/15 Manufactured, one of the first production batches of 16's. Any specific things that I need to look into while checking it out before shaking hands with the dealer. Its an Auto tranny.
Please share the spreadsheet if you are willing!I second that, seems like a good deal. Few things to check would be panel issues, make sure everything lines up nice with little/even gaps. Check that the trunk closes easily (few people here had issues) Even check the AM radio! (other post it didn't work) Other people had issues with the light above the rear exhaust coming off a bit.
I made up a quick excel spreadsheet with all the areas that I want to check. I want to make sure that I didn't miss anything during the excitement of picking it up. I also explained to my dealer that I'll need time by myself to check it out without him over me.
You may want to consider asking them not to put dealer stickers or badges on it, also decide if you want a front plate holder drilled into the bumper (if your state requires it) I opted to go with the sto n sho plate holder.
Overall though, good luck and enjoy it, make sure it is a happy time.
I am west of Fort Worth, I am not going through McDavid. I am using Autonation, I am refraining to pass judgement until after I take delivery.Hi Ozzmosis,
Looks like you are located in Fort Worth, I am picking up the car from David McDavid Ford Fort Worth. Had a horrible time with the sales reps who never keep their words, but in the end it was a deal ;)
