Wasn't entirely my fault. I took the car through an automated touchless carwash, but I had the clutch halfway engaged when the car was locked in the pulley system for quite a bit of time. The problem was that I didn't know exactly when to put the car in neutral since I couldn't tell when my wheels were locked into the pulley system.

That's what I'm worried about. I have no clue on the cost right now. I bought the premium maintenance package which usually covers the clutch, but I doubt they will cover it as it's only been 1 day. Ford service was closed so I'll find out tomorrow...

I had to drive it 200 miles home so it got dirty on the drive back. As soon as I got home I took it to the car wash where this happened...

I could smell it, but by that time the damage was done. I'm 22 years old and today was my first manual experience ever.
