I just got off the phone with Ford Performance - they confirmed vin# 0633 is "In Process". I asked to confirm the meaning, and he said that it is officially being produced - this update was from last Friday, October 2nd.

Well that's great news and can't wait until mine gets built and shipped. Next would be the test results we are all waiting to see. MT test results and all the other mags . Oct should be a fun month for us future Shelby owners.

Suddenly, I'm not in a huge hurry. I'm buying a new house that is closing escrow in 3 weeks. Awesome right??? Problem is my current house just fell out of escrow....this means I'm writing a big 20% down payment check straight out of my pocket and not taking a dime out of current residence. Doable but not fun.. So if my car takes a couple more weeks, I'm not going to cry. It gives me time to scramble for a new buyer.

Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen during the week of October 19th.

Not sure where your dealer got his information but he needs to have much better information than he recently passed along to you.

I agree with you, however, he seemed confident and even asked me to drop off my custom plates. Not holding my breath, especially at my age.

Dealer is way over optimistic.... needs a reality discount-double check. addle:

Tell them not one of the 2015's have been delivered yet, let alone released for shipping.

I called Ford Performance this morning and have been given November 2 as a build date. Same date I was given a couple of weeks ago, so no push backs lately. I may in fact be hot rodding by Christmas!!! Go Team SANTA!

HOPEFULLY I will have sold my house by then!
