heated 2 car garage. both mustangs in there.
attached to the house.

i never park on the street where i live...it has become a drag strip now since they
are going so fast. my dad's 1997 ranger was totaled because of someone driving too fast...he tried to drive away, but his car died so he was caught and charged with reckless driving.
ill never live in a house that requires on street parking....

Garage at home (although its tight with the Pathfinder in there as well) and garage at work. We have about five 2015's that park in the garage at work, some days it looks like a car show in there :).

Good luck,

Eric

Covered reserved parking spot inside an apartment complex with surrounding metal fence. Not that this was listed or asked, but during the day its parked in a 3 story parking garage when I'm at work. Generally safe from most people who can't park because almost everyone I work with knows what I drive and usually park around me lol
Wouldn't mind a reserve spot but those are only for the higher-ups and don't want to piss them off lol

I dont mean to start this thread again. Like I had said I had not seen it in my search of it. I dont condone spitting on any ones vehicle, nor would I do it.

Any help in pointing me to the other thread so that I can look at that one instead of continue this thread?
Don't worry about it Suggs. If anyone doesn't like it, they can skip over it. Why they come in to complain is beyond me. This is a large forum with a lot of topics and pages. Hard to navigate through it all.
As for where I park. I am fortunate that I can keep it in the garage. If I had to park in the street, I think I would never get any sleep.
All it takes is one "thug", one group of bored teens, and you car is done for. And the odds are it will happen eventually on the street. I bet a lot here have some "horror stories they could share.

Years ago, I lived in an apartment building and always parked my brand new Mustang right below my bedroom window. One morning, I was awakened by a dull thud. I jumped out of bed and saw a police car stopped in the street just in front of my car. The cop was standing by my car and shaking his head. I stuck my head out and asked if there was a problem. The cop replied "is this your new car?". I yelled back 'yes'. He said 'you better come down'. I rushed down and found that the cop had fallen asleep near the end of his shift. He had hit the rear of the car in front of me. That woke him up! He jerked the wheel and his squad's rear bumper caught my front quarter panel just in front of the wheel. He had nearly torn the quarter panel off my three week old Mustang!
After it was repaired (the paint shop never did get the paint to match perfectly), I found a neighbor who had an empty garage. So I ended paying extra for locked covered storage.
Since then, my cars have always been garaged. I never leave a car in my driveway, or in the street, over night.

If you want one and can afford one - get one. A car can be damaged anywhere at anytime so I wouldn't let that stop you. I've seen people get hit while pumping gas. And not everyone has a careful wife so a garage isn't always safe either. Street parking would make me nervous for the first few months of ownership, Halloween, New Year's Eve, 4th of July, and every Friday/Saturday night after the bars close... and when the kiddos get out of school and are playing on the street. I remember once when I was a kid I tried to see how far I could bike with a blindfold on. I made it pretty far actually... until I crashed into a parked car. Anyway, long story short... glad I have a garage.

Just bought my Mustang. I have a two car garage but one side is taken with coolers and lawn equipment; but I plan to build a storage shed out back soon so I can park both cars inside. In the meantime my wife and I alternate who gets the garage. She has a brand new Audi...so she gets priority.
