I'm ordering my Gt350 on Monday and I'm struggling with color choice. I haven't seen any of them in person, So I was hoping I could get some feed back from those who have.
I see one combination that is perfect then I see another and keep second guessing myself. Here are some of the combination. Avalanche gray with white stripes, I'm afraid with time it may become boring. Black with blue stripes, you lose the contrast with the wheels and other black accent pieces. Magnetic with blue stripes, great contrast and looks great in pictures. DIB with black stripes, also looks great in pictures. Or no stripes at all. Feel free to give me your thoughts. Thanks.

Aside from seing a GT350 in person, I say to at least look at Mustangs at your local dealership to see if you'd like it in the colors readily available (i.e. Black, Magnetic, DIB, etc). Color preference is really subjective after all.

IME, when I saw AG in person I knew then & there that's the color of choice for me.... and my target color before that was actually Race Red. Like I said, take a look at the different colors on the new Mustangs at your dealership.... all are currently available except AG which is presently unique to the GT350.

I agree with Bossing. A color choice is to personal to let others on the forum decide for you. I suggest going and look at as many regular mustangs of all colors both day and night to see what you like. For me the regular mustang color I like best is magnetic but I felt that a magnetic car with black wheels and black stripes with black trim would have very little contrast and would not stand out so much. I ended up ordering AG with a black roof and black stripes sight unseen. I gambled but the choice was my own and I will have no hard feelings about it. I also chose AG because it is an exclusive color. Now the regular cars can add stripes and I want something a little more exclusive.

One thing is for sure - you'll consider changing the color at least once before the order is locked in :)

There isn't a bad color for this car. Pick what you think you can live with for years to come.

I agree with the others that it's a very personal decision. I can tell from your post that your taste and wants for the car color are different than mine. I'm more stuck between black and race red. I like AG, but I wonder whether it will be a fad color and it will be obvious the car was built in 2015. I will stick with black (and no stripes), because I don't want the car to stand out or be noticed. I will already get too much attention for buying this car without also making it a color that draws attention. I want a fun car, but I don't want too many people to notice me having fun.

White with blue stripes. They shouldn't offer any other color.

I'm ordering my Gt350 on Monday and I'm struggling with color choice. I haven't seen any of them in person, So I was hoping I could get some feed back from those who have.

I am sure that everyone has their own way of choosing a color combination for their new car but here is what I do.

1. I look at as many cars at my local Ford dealership that have the appropriate colors for the car in question. Nothing better than to see the color of a car in person.

2. I spend a lot of time on this forum looking at not only the various color combinations but also the stripe options, painted roof option or neither. This forum is a tremendous resource for information of all kinds and in particular colors of these cars.

3. Once you have a bit of a feel for all of the colors offered start eliminating certain colors that just don't work for you and come up with a short list of colors and/or stripe/painted roof options. Remember that are 8 color choices for the GT350 and only 7 color choices for the GT350R.

4. Once I have determined a short list of colors/stripe options I then head to my garage with a refreshment of choice (in my case scotch or whisky) and then try to visualize which color and paint options would look best in my garage when my car arrives and also in 5 years from now?

5. Make your choice and be proud of the choice that you made as there are no bad color combinations in my opinion.

Have fun with this process and expect to change your mind a couple of times especially if you head back to the kitchen for another round and your wife says that she likes RED cars!

After seeing this in person I think this is my favorite color combination so far. Although I think I'd skip the black roof. I've also thought about going no stripes to stand out less.

but I do kind of agree with this. Classic!

If the wife is on board if you get a red one...get a red one and enjoy. Red never goes out of style.

Even though these cars look awesome in black I'm pretty much done with black vehicles. I've had 5 different black vehicles and my 2014 GT is the first I bought brand new and actually take the time to keep it looking it's best.

I choose the black with stripe kit, even as hard as it to keep clean, it just looked the part.
Fast, mean and very cool all at the same time.
I also agree its personal and you have to enjoy the combination.

You don’t want to know
Personally, I'm tired of cars that fall into black-gray color pallete. (Have you driven by a BMW dealer lately? It's a sea of no color!) I think fun cars should be bright, vibrant colors, so for the GT 350 it's yellow or red all the way.

Thank you for all the input and suggestions. I know and have seen all the Mustang colors except the Avalanche Gray, and that is my problem. I really like the AG in the pictures. I also like the idea of it being a color only for the GT350. My Boss 302 is comp. orange and my 50th Ann. is wimbledon white, both colors dedicated only to those specific cars. Along with the AG color that also really appeals to me. I've got it narrowed down to a couple of colors and I probably will change my mind at least once. Thanks for the help..

IMO, AG already looks good in photos therefore it's a testament that it won't be a so-called-bland in person. Plus it also looks classy & sport at the same time based on when I saw it live... so to me you can't go wrong with that if you decide on it. I also like the contrasting theme. Just my point of view.... YMMV.
