I would have given up on remote tuning by then. I don't have that much patience or time to keep doing data logs for that long. Lund guys are very nice and good, but seems they are understaffed for their demand.
very few people can tune these cars right.

Got the new tune update. Datalogged pull to 7200 RPM in 3rd gear. It feels STRONG and smooth. Still a little rich from glancing at the a/f gauge. But I sent them back. Hopefully I get a new revision, or the okay to have fun. I will by hitting the dyno this week as soon as the tune is good.

fastest privately owned car is remote tuned.
OK? Don't know what that has to do with it.

You stated your tuner quit,
I was saying there are plenty of other places.
And that now that your guy quit, you can give a shout to those others.

very few people can tune these cars right.
Lots of guys out there running numbers and enjoying their cars.
I am sure you can get in contact with them.
Just trying to be positive man, so you can be like the rest of the people enjoying.

That gauge sucks as far as refresh rate. Watching it in a datalog is the only way to know for sure. The gauge is just more of an "idea" to make sure your in the ballpark. The datalog stream is much more accurate.

I've spoken to many shops. A lot of them cannot tune out the partial throttle surge on a manual car

A lot of cars are automatics that are not having issues. I'm not looking to relive that Tuning fiasco.

A lot of shops also just use Lund which is not an option for me.

guys, you all need to be a little more patient.

be patient a little, and please do the math correct lol.

day 1 is Monday. Saturday is Saturday, sunday is sunday, lund is mon through Friday. so you can't count those days

so your going to have all the logs in that were uploaded since Friday afternoon to get to before yours on Monday.

after the first set of logs your giving the go ahead to drive, the car is driveable just not in wot,

so within 5 hours of lund being open on Monday you have a car that is driveable on the street, 5 hours.

call any tuner on the planet that does in house tuning, and 1 - try to even get a base file to be tuned on, usually you have to tow the car there to even get started.

with lund you have the file ,before you even have the kit most of the time, much less installed.

and, try getting a car that is driveable within 5 hours of emailing in about needing a tune.

most good tuners are booked 2-4 weeks out.

I think we spent 5 - 8 weeks even debating on what combo to go with, lol. and the car is driveable within 5 hours.....

the best tune on the planet, and in a timely fashion.

a couple days of remote tuning really is very small in the scheme of things

:)
:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Not only all of what Terry said but Lund has also given me updates as he himself has had progress. I am on revision 4 since WOT was possible and I can tell you I have no surge, no WOT issues, and awesome throttle response. I am sure in the future when I do Boss manifold and cat delete that drivability will be even better even though I have no complaints now.

Hey everyone just letting you know there is a bunch of oil blow by going on with these kits. Procharger just rebuilt my blower and told me there was some motor oil sitting in the blower after 4k miles. I would recommend a catch can or breather system to everyone with a Procharger kit or Supercharger in general. I talked to Steve from Upr and he said they are finishing up production on their catch can for procharged cars. I'll be purchasing one asap.

Update : Jon hooked me up tonight. Got 3 revisions today. Last tune he was happy with, but he wants me to gap the plugs down. Im.at .035" now. I'm good to go though until I get them gapped down.

I want to say that Jon really worked hard to make me happy. It took longer than I originally expected. But 3 days is worth the results.

+1. I pulled my car back apart last weekend and found an incredible amount of oil everywhere.. also had a small kink in the PCV plumbing to inlet tube which created a nice mess. Lund wants me to get the catch can setup before we start tuning again - so I'm looking for a solution ASAP. Perhaps breathers and IMRC delete?
