Hope you post pics once you get the spoiler on there, saw a bunch of roush spoilers today and really liked the look, I prefer the cdc though because it covers up the holes after a spoiler delete. Mine is going in to have the front bumper cover replaced (warranty) so I am considering whether to do this since I have a 2nd chance now. On my last one ('07) the bumper really took a lot over the years and now this one, 9 months old, already has a couple chips on it & there was one bug spatter that left a stain. So I don't know if this protector will help.Not necessarily.
Think about it this way. The wall in your house has paint on it. Put some thick plastic like a thick Ziploc plastic sandwich baggy on the stop and then chuck a rock at it about 50-75mph. That's actually probably thicker than the film.
Physics says the paint and wall under are softer than the rock and can still dent/pit. Yes the film protects a bit better than a plastic baggy, but the point remains. People claim x y and z about film which isn't all true. Sure it will REDUCE rock chips but wont prevent all rock damage despite what people claim. A good size rock/gravel on the highway at speed will leave a good dent under the film and could still chip the paint.

Problem is if it happens again or a fender bender that's another $750-1500 out of pocket to re-do it. Its not so much trade value but I just don't like to see chips all over, my paint is always clean and I'm really meticulous. To me it's just not worth it until you reach a certain value car. A $30-40k car is just too little in my opinion to invest $1000 or more in on film. Some chips are expected trading in a 5 year old daily driven consumer car; and the dealer fixes them super cheap before reselling the car (their cost is really little- I've seen $100-200 to respray a bumper or hood since they dole out bulk work to shops). Maybe not so much on a 5 year Ferrari though.
I've always wondered about that. The hand brake lever is VERY tight on mine. How do you do it?Tightened up the hand-brake so it only takes several clicks to get tight.
There is a 10mm nut on the left side of the car adjacent to the the resonator's location that controls the parking brake cable slack. If you tighten the nut clockwise, it will make the handbrake very tight. If you loosen up the 10mm nut, the handbrake quickly gets very loose and requires many clicks for a good engagement.
