Learned you don't want to be the first car down a freshly prepped track running against a much faster car on slicks - VHT all over my damn car.

To make matters worse, it started raining shortly there after - only one run and rain-out. Again. Third time this week at three different tracks. :(

What happens if a little stone hits the bumper on the road, will that prevent the paint from chipping?
Not necessarily.

Think about it this way. The wall in your house has paint on it. Put some thick plastic like a thick Ziploc plastic sandwich baggy on the stop and then chuck a rock at it about 50-75mph. That's actually probably thicker than the film.

Physics says the paint and wall under are softer than the rock and can still dent/pit. Yes the film protects a bit better than a plastic baggy, but the point remains. People claim x y and z about film which isn't all true. Sure it will REDUCE rock chips but wont prevent all rock damage despite what people claim. A good size rock/gravel on the highway at speed will leave a good dent under the film and could still chip the paint.

Common sense should prevail

Well I finally picked out my spoiler. I'm going with the CDC Outlaw, and I'm getting the Cervinis lower side scoops. Waiting to see if there's a discount at CJ Pony Parts for us members.. So once I know I'll be making the order official! And I started my own build thread lol.

It should help prevent alot of them. I don't believe it will prevent all of them.

Not necessarily.

The xpel ultimate film is 8.1 mils +/- 5% installed. A ziploc sandwich baggy is ~1.5 - 2 mils.

Also remember that rock chips are not the only thing it helps mitigate. Damage from bug guts, scuffs and scratches too.

Not sure who/what this is directed at but, I did my research and made an informed decision. But hey, Thanks for your opinion!

Spacers

Looks great! Did the spacers bring out exactly flush?
I have 1" spacers on all four and they are all pretty much exactly flush.

Yes but I just bought some wheels. Lol

With the factory wheels and lowering springs, after adding spacers have you scrubbed inner-fenders at all?

Car & mods... Great job...

I did notice one of my wheel well liners was pushed up on the passenger side. It's not rubbing though. Probably just a suspension travel on a larger bump.

Nope, manual.
..... Then how do you not like it? Lol I'm still trying to work on controlling all the wheel spin I get from launch. Not to mention shifting as fast as possible
