That guy is my Hero...
Sponsored
The guys at my dealer didn't think so. Caught 2 of them joy riding my car to get lunch and could have cost them their jobs... Needless to say I don't think they will do it again as every time I go back I remind the manager they are not to touch any of my vehicles I don't care if they're the only 2 there I'll wait for another tech to open up. I caught them red handed in my truck at the same restaurant!
I would do just this!!! A person who doesn't even care to say stuff knowing there is a cam doesn't need to be working/dealing with people vehicles. You need to spread this videoI think this is a pretty serious issue. The guy driving it knows you will be listening to it. That goes against the customer service character of that stealership. I'd walk it in and show it to the manager. My guess is that if they allow that kind of behavior.... and knowing stealerships they probably do... the manager wont care.
Call up your local news and show it to them.
I let the service and body shop managers handle it. And little did they know my sister knows both the dealership owner and his son... We get treated pretty good there and they didn't wreck it so I didn't make as big a deal of it as the body shop manager did... The car was in his possession and it was service techs in the car. He was out for bloodwow...i dont know if id be able to contain myself if i found someone joy riding my car instead of working on it like they should have beenaddle:
I don't like the ecoboost either but that's not a reason to hate on someone that does. I've owned an ecoboost so I can talk shit about it. This guy probably has a 1986 VW rabbit and is butt hurt his $9/hr can't net him even a base V6 S550 or even a Kia with hub caps for that matter :doh:I agree with everyone on this. I would have shown it to their superiors. Like said before, he knew you'd be listening to it. The language too, is very unprofessional for someone that know's your gonna see the vid. I cuss at any other normal rate, but I still know not to when at work in front of a customer... I don't understand why he works at a Ford dealer and is hating on the car so much. He should have seen tons of them by now.
Like another said, they may be hating on the ecoboost. Too bad for them...They'll be seeing a LOT more. In the end though, you're right. This is pretty funny. I just wouldn't want guys like that in my car, especially ones that hate the car and are about to "repair" something on it.
A technician at the dealership contacted me this morning after seeing the video. They know he does this. He's an older guy that thinks every modern car is all cheap plastic. I think the dealership just thinks he's funny.I had an employee who though her job was to frown and hide. Some of our patients told me she looked like she didn't want to be there (working). So I made her happy and let her go. Employees are ambassadors to your company. Let the GM see the video. It's his decision to act on it. But he definitely needs to know.
