Auto gt 3.55's or 3.73's

As the title states im looking to do a gear swap. My local dealer charges 1100 which includes them supplying all the parts and correcting the the speedo.

My auto has 3.15's which are so sluggish to me. Good MPG's though lol.

I hear 3.55's are great but then i see a few bad reviews of sluggish.
3.73's i only hear of 2 other ppl with them but they dont respond to questions about the gears. my only fear is if the 3.73's on a auto would be too jerky and a supper sensitive throttle.

does anyone have any light to shed on this? maybe even experiences from mustang users from the 11-14 gt model year?

It depends on your goals for the car.

RB put 3.73s in his auto and then changed it out again for better 1/4 mile times.

How about you tell us what your actual plans are with the car, then people can tell you whats going to be better for you.

It will be a mildly modded street car. never going to drag race. i may do i few back road runs. maybe track it as a experience.

3.55s or leave it stock. My .02

Got this from ford racing.
Note: 3.15 ratio differential not compatible with 3.31, 3.55 and 3.73 ratio gears. Use differential M-4204-MT or M-4204-M

ive been leaning towards this as well

Do you have a tune yet? Your car won't feel sluggish with a tune in fact you'll have trouble getting the car to hook on the street. The autos feel sluggish because of two things. The stock tune and the soft converter. Trust me it's not the gears.

3.31's with a tune if you're willing to get a new diff.
